The pistol that was ultimately turned over to the police was supposedly non-functional. I suspect it is related to that.
Locked my doors, turned out the lights, got my gun and peeked out through the curtains to see if any leftists were coming.
Didn't the governor come out against the prosecution? Or does that not matter? I figured he'd just pardon them, even though clearly what they were doing was criminal - especially the woman.
LOL: "More recently, Rudy Giuliani said the couple was very close to being “murdered” and “raped.” Grand Jury Hits St. Louis Attorneys Mark and Patricia McCloskey with New Evidence Tampering Charges The AR-15 was seized from the home during the execution of the search warrant. The pistol was turned over to the police by the couple's attorney. The pistol was non-functioning. She told police "the handgun she used during the June 28 confrontation was inoperable because she had used it as a prop during a trial against a gun manufacturer." He has said he will pardon them. If they are convicted, however, they will likely lose their law licenses. The governor has no control over that.
"“They want to abolish the suburbs altogether by ending single-family home zoning. This forced rezoning would bring crime, lawlessness and low-quality apartments into thriving suburban neighborhoods." Make of it what you will. I know what it sounds a helluva a lot like. In any case, it's not based in fact about Biden's position, but that to me is to be expected given who voiced this.
The fear-mongering stupidity of that is amazing in itself. The idea that they expect people to believe is more mind-boggling. And they fact that some people probably do believe it ... just beyond all comprehension.
And yet again the ignorant will follow the ignorant. You should have read the article before giving fistbumps. They owe what most businesses owe. They were fighting the tax accessor on the value of the property because they felt the accessed was too high. They lost that fight so now have to pay it or face their property getting auctioned off after 3 years of non-payment. Pretty standard stuff. My wife fought hers too and won.
Sorry, what's ignorant in your world is being responsible in mine. Contrary to your experiences, most business are not in the position of being delinquent in real estate taxes....I certainly am not. In fact, I pay my property taxes on both my residence and office in quarterly installments, so I'm actually paid ahead. My friends that own business property are current as well. Perhaps I just know a better class of business owners? The fact that their property can't be auctioned off yet is hardly a sign of good citizenship.
After he got his personal army of armed brown shirts and signed our national sovereignty away to the U.N., of course. Seriously, remember all the "UN is going to take our guns!" claims. We lived thru that BS for 8 years.
