Dallas and Tampa Bay playing for the Stanley Cup. Amazing growth of a sport that was primarily in Canada and Northern States when I was growing up. Congrats to Tampa Bay! Has to really frustrate the Panthers. The Florida Panthers just can’t figure it out. They have been a slow skating team that can’t win face offs. Have not had a top scorer since they traded away Bure. Now the Panthers trade for a guy in mid-30s that is past his prime and paid a high salary. Tampa Bay is a much better hockey organization

Lightning are one of the best run organizations in pro sports, period.

Hopefully more championships coming with this core.

This is an incredible team...would have been one of the greatest in NHL history last year.
Tampa is truly a hockey town!

Now my college team is current (and two-time) defending champs, as if my pro team. Go Bolts!

I am so proud of this team! They scraped themselves off the floor after last year and utterly committed themselves to do the things they had to do to accomplish this. And, not only is this an outstanding group of athletes, but a great group of guys that represent the organization and the city very, very well. Outstanding job!! GO BOLTS!!!

16 down, NONE to go!!! ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡

    STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS 2020 !!!!!!!!

I have 3 souvenir pucks and a couple of T shirts. When I wear one up at the Publix I get some funny looks from people. What looks like nole colors with a bulldog on the front gets some attention around here LOL.

The Bucs are my second team. My Buc loving dad has always regretted taking me across Alligator Alley to all those Marino games in the OB as a kid. :D.

But if the Rays somehow win the WS, I will go all in on the Bucs to win the SB.

I want my hometown to make 2020 a great sports year in every way...Go Rowdies too while we are at it.

    Congrats to the Lightning!

No asterisk BS either. Bolts were clearly the best team regardless of how the season played out.

The asterisk should read like this:

*Toughest Stanley Cup to win in NHL history.

What's so crazy is I remember back in 2008 when the Lightning had the number one pick in the NHL draft and everywhere around town, you'd see signs reading, "Seen Stamkos?" Then the next year, they drafted Hedman and I remember seeing Vinny and Marty mentoring the two young kids. It's amazing to see them hoist the Cup after all those years.

Well, the Stanley Cup is now accounted for. Great job, Bolts!!

Next up: a World Series championship for the Rays. Those guys took their first step towards that goal with a solid 3-1 win today over the Blue Jays in the first game of their best-of-three series. GO RAYS!!!

Rays D was dominant last night. Snell had a no-hitter through five and Adames made three great plays at short. Just need to get the bats going a little more. With Choi and Diaz just off the IL, that might just be the jolt that's needed. Game 2 tonight at 4:00. Congrats again to the Bolts and Go Rays!

If you watch the re-run whenever it airs, you’ll miss some of the most entertaining parts to editing.

We got f-bombs from the Big Rig, Stammer, and (surprisingly) Jeff Vinik on Fox Sports Sun tonight. :D

Stammer’s “the reason I re-signed for 8 more years was to bring home the Cup. And we f-ing did it!” was amazing.

As was Alex Killorn’s thank yous concluding with “And thank you to the governor for reopening the bars just in time for the boys!”
