We have had so many great tight ends throughout the years, but I can honestly say I can’t remember a receiving tight end that as talented as Pitts... and yes I am including Hernandez in my recollection.

Yep. This isn't rust or simply not having a handle on Kiffen's system with no film. The secondary has substantial issues.

 

You can’t “drive” the qb into the ground 2-3 seconds after the ball is out and the play is done. He took it too far. He drove Trask 3-4 steps before lifting Trask off his feet and slamming him into the ground. The ball was definitely out before then. Stupid play.

 

Trask to Pitts might be quite the combo all season.

Agree. Will be interesting at end of the season to see how how many TD's they score against all the other teams. I bet ALL of them are north of 29.
