Defense not ready for prime time. Mullen gave away an offensive series with Emory. And kiffen outcoaching him with much inferior talent

Exactly. Several of their plays were the line not keeping gap control.

 

We need a big turnover.

 

His entire defense is predicated on getting an offense to 3rd and medium where he can blitz 6 very creatively. If you can’t win 1st and 2nd down, he is screwed. It’s always been that way. Apparently 3rd and absurd is out of his purview as well

 

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Grantham either wins the game for us... and calls an A+ game, except on third down...

Or he doesn't show up at all and looks completely lost...

Grantham is good at taking someone else’s talent and doing a quick turnaround. Was always a question as to whether the offense (especially the OL) would improve in time to offset the inevitable decline. I was stunned at how overrated we were coming into this season. The other side of the story here is that we still don’t have a conventional running game. If Grantham is leaving, perhaps Hevesy wants to go with him?

 

Is it the plays he’s calling or the execution of the plays. Not sure. But whatever the problem they are killing our defense on 3rd and long.

 

Desperately need a 3 & out here. Kiffin is out coaching Grantham right now.

 

Agree and about 99% of gal control is lining up correctly, which Florida is struggling with

 

I keep thinking that now that the defense has got a feel for their 9ffense..we would figure them out..has not happened yet

 

W running game, some of that is on backs. There are holes. We look slow. They look fast.

 

This isn’t first game jitters it’s exactly Grantham. Consistent, why would we expect anything different

 

Kiffin is a better coach than Grantham... I could've told you that before the game...

 

We are the worst rush offense and this year looks the same. Ole Miss looking really good right now as if they have played a few games already and we just put a team together yesterday.

 

How do you not make that tackle?
