I cant see Kuch being too serious. He stayed in the game for a time.

Just think IF Stammer does show up.

And yes...need Philly to win at least two to drag that out.

Stupid Philly just blew a two goal lead in the last five minutes and are headed to OT.

Yep, I was afraid Philly had blown it in the third period. But, fortunately, they came back to stretch this series out a bit further. Every extra day is a help to get all of our Bolts guys healthy, rested, and ready to go. What I'd really like to see now are a couple more multiple overtime games in this series!

Thus, a couple of more days for the Bolts to rest and recuperate. Hell, at this rate, maybe we WILL get Stamkos back!

Best case scenario with more time to heal - and those long OT games can be wearing on a team. 3-3 in that series - who do you pull for in game 7?

    Honestly Philly.
Cooper has won me back this season with some really good coaching decisions in these playoffs when in the past he was getting outcoached.

....but Barry Trotz scares me. He is a tough nosed Tortorella type. Has a cup and can beat you with less.

Either way, Bolts will be the better team and just need to play up to potential.

MB hitting two Homer's the night after Chapman tried to take his head off is a thing of beauty. They didn't retaliate with by throwing at guys...they just launched some balls into the On night. Then Chapman blew a save against the Mets last night! The Ray's are done with the Yanks in the regular season and finished 8-2 vs New York. Ray's only have 3 games vs winning records down the stretch.

Cash has to be manager of the year. He has had 12 pitchers on the DL (IL) this year and is a magician with the bullpen.

SOS had some HOF comments on coaching.
Example: "When they play the way we practice, we are pretty good coaches".
And of course, after a loss "I guess we didn't do a good job of coaching".

Gave up 3 power plays in the first period, 2 one on mines, but scored 3 goals, chased the goalie and are up 2.

A complete thrashing of the Islanders! At times it looked like an instructional video. The Lightning were sharp, Sharp, SHARP tonight!

Who has a better pair of forwards than Point and Kucherov?
Who has a better pair of defensemen than McDonagh and Hedman?
Who has a better goalie than Vasilevskiy?

    Go Bolts!!

Nobody. They are the best team. They actually might be the best team over the past 4 seasons or so. They just run into a hot team. This year THEY may be the hot team.

Seriously, what team can lose their captain, an elite hall of fame caliber goal scorer in what should be his prime, not really have to worry through the first 2 rounds to start the playoffs, and then start the conference finals with one of the more dominating wins in ECF history? They also spent 10 or the first 40 minutes down one man, and didn't even really try to score on the 5 on 3 late. It easily could have been 10-2.

And much like Boston, NYI have a goalie problem. The team with an elite goalie will beat the team with poor goal keeping 8 night out of 10.

I had grown weary of Cooper, but I am starting to think Stevie Y had built an ill equipped playoff team. They were not tough and that was a personnel problem, not a coaching one. BriseBois added the playoff style guys to all the skill guys that Yzerman collected and now Cooper looks like the smartest guy in the room because he has flexibility.

When they were 0-16 on the PP Cooper switched Kuch to the other side. Now the PP is on fire. Putting Hedman on the first PP line last night paid off. They are physical at the blue line on the penalty kill now. These are moves that Cooper can make and be confident the personnel will support it.
