Ah, hubris, the easiest of money to take from someone. Go ahead and put together the game. Make sure it's safe and bring plenty of money.
ok. I am heading up the to mts tomorrow. Should be ready to play either Tues or Wed of next week. The plan is to set it up on pokerstars (so, get an acct if you don't have one). It will be for play money, but it is easy enough for it to be real to us. Also & importantly, this will allow us to avoid the rake. I'll create a post tue or wed of next week with the deets. p.s. IMO, 6 total would be ideal.
play money on stars. it need not be play money to us. we can find a 3rd party poster & let him/her hold money in escrow or I am willing to trust people for round 1 & see how it goes. could settle up via pay pal or venmo.
y'all should have left it at play money and pm'd about the real stuff. these posts are gonna be nixxed.
I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 and won't be voting for Trump this year either. Trump is a terrible person and an awful President. I will be voting 3rd party for President and will be about 70/30 Republican for Florida elections.
Penn State doctor: About a third of tested athletes with COVID-19 had heart inflammation Interesting. An important nugget that may explain some of it, but another unknown with this virus. Dr. Leora Horwitz, a professor at New York University’s medical school, responded to the comments on Twitter by calling the 30 percent figure “very high” and cautioning that even before coronavirus, it is possible there could be undetected temporary heart inflammation in people with no symptoms from various other viruses. “We don’t usually cardiac MRI asymptomatic people, so could be a lot of unrecognized, transient viral myocarditis in general,” she wrote.
Doctor says myocarditis shouldn’t cancel football Article saying a little different. I will try to find the article saying most doctors know that most influenza's cause a bit of myocarditis also. But interesting to read.
It says (and I quoted) something similar in this article, that is why I posted the caveat. The link isn't damning but, as I said, it is interesting.
This is a question, not an argument, but how long does the inflammation last with the regular flu? Does it stop when the flu goes away? With Covid it lingers for months after symptoms are gone, even with never having had symptoms. With the regular flu most wouldn’t be playing with a serious case and severe symptoms. They’d likely return once they’re over it. Does the inflammation linger or go away with the infection? Both sides clearly have agendas, and I do believe the SEC/ACC/Big12 have a stronger desire to play than the Big10/Pac12, but all conferences want to play. I also don’t believe that the SEC/ACC/Big12 would knowingly put the lives at risk of their athletes. I don’t know, it’s just odd to get such opposite views from medical professionals.
knowingly...have they tested for AMI post covid in the SEC athletes? If so, what are the 7, 14, 21, 28 day results of the AMI testing post covid? If not, why not? I guess with no testing, they don't know because they do not want to know. Don't ask me no questions, I won't tell you no lies. If the Big 10 has been testing and has the 7, 1,4 21, 28 day + AMI test results and is not sharing them then it isn't good news.
1 wedding 143 known covid cases after outbreak at jail where wedding guest worked 1 death COVID-19 spread at Maine wedding now linked to 143 cases, one death, outbreak at jail York County Sheriff William L. King Jr. said Wednesday that there are 46 cases among inmates, 19 among corrections officers, two among workers elsewhere in the York County government building and one support staffer assigned to the jail. That’s a total of 68 cases among those who are incarcerated at the jail and those who work there, King said. The jail employs 44 officers and houses 116 inmates, he said. ………………... Investigators have also linked the wedding to an outbreak at the Maplecrest Rehabilitation and Living Center in Madison, where there are now 13 cases, including seven residents and six staff, Maine CDC spokesperson Robert Long said Wednesday. Although officials have linked the York County Jail and Maplecrest outbreaks to the Aug. 7 wedding, investigators are still working to determine how many of the additional cases are also linked to the wedding, Long said. There are now 143 cases linked to the wedding, including one person who died, Long said.
It is conjecture that the inflammation lasts for months with Covid. Wait for a peer reviewed study before making such a claim.
