I believe the question was asked earlier in this thread "are they really right wing heroes". I guess we have the answer.
First of all, you have to remember how much misinformation is out there. We've seen a lot of it on Too Hot. That the protesters broke down the gate, were on the McCloskeys' property, were threatening to kill the couple, etc. ... But beyond that, given the couple's really creepy history of numerous lawsuits, threatening neighbors, destroying children's beehives, etc .... these are people you want to celebrate and honor?
I think they did break down the gate ..... there were pictures on here......but the couple was far more threatening than the unarmed protesters. The McCloskey’s appeared more like an accident trying to find a place to happen.
there are photos of the broken gate, but the gate was intact when the first protesters were inside it.
Sooner or later, these mobs are going to “peacefully protest” in the wrong neighborhood and it is going to get ugly. Citizens throughout this country are growing very tired of the nightly violence and it is just a matter of time until some of them start fighting back.
You mean the nightly ginned up stories on Fox News mostly showing old footage from the days surrounding George Floyd's death?
Actually it isn't. You live in Pcola? It's located in Mrytle Grove near Escambia High School. It was a nice location where many of the residents were seniors. Since they are all duplexes, it is great for my mom who can no longer take stairs. But yes, the entrance is very small and really the HOA is paying too much for that but understand that the road is the owner's road, and is not public. I made my brother the power-of-attorney to make decisions in my stead and if he wanted to, he could enforce the arrest of any trespassers. Most of the time, no one has ill intentions but the shooting made a lot of people nervous. My brother has been thinking about buying a shotgun for some time but I told him not to. He's never shot a gun in his life and at 68 is not a good time to learn with an 87 year woman in the apartment with him. The best thing he can do is call 911. There used to be a black female police officer living in the condo and he wished she still lived there because just having the police car parked at night kept all of the bad elements out. Soon as she moved out, the thugs started to show up. I told him what the owners should have done is pool their money and pay for her rent. That cost would have been about $25/month and would have been a great investment.
Google Greenwood, Oklahoma. Read. And then, be thankful that Black people aren't nearly as violent, petty, and vindictive as we are. After that, reassess whether making these sorts of veiled threats is productive. BTW, Greenwood is just the tip of the white mob violence iceberg.
Not sure something that happened 100 years ago is relevant today but good for you for being on top of your American History. And I’m not making a veiled threat at all. I’m just saying there are some crazy people in this country and if these nightly confrontations continue, it might lead to some tragic consequences. We don’t need any more violence in this country.
It is absolutely relevant today. This nation has a lot of ugliness in its past and present. If you want to understand why "the mob" is out there, you only need look to that ugliness. And you're not going to quiet that "mob" with more violence. If you want to know what was wrong with your post, it was you implying that said violence would be understandable or even justified.
