Jon Cooper got torched by Torts again today.
...But the Rays tied the record for most runs scored vs Boston in a 4 game series in Red Sox history. :D

Game three - halfway through the third period. Lightning just killed a 5-on-3.

It's the sport ruled by two-time reigning division I champions the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs. :emoji_hockey::emoji_hockey:

My Aunt and Uncle used to own a small ski hill in Duluth for years. Never been there, but, looks like they've got hockey! It's tough to say, but, for you, I'll utter this, "Go Bulldogs!"

I'm behind on DVR, so don't spoil the surprise, folks. Still in the first and Kilorn got a steal, faked the goalie and scored. 1-0 Lightning

I don't know of any small privately owned ski hills in Duluth. Spirit Mountain is the main ski hill in town, but there are some public parks with hills. Don't tell me your aunt/uncle owned Spirit Mountain?

Oh and yes the whole "Go Bulldogs" thing has been a bit of a pill to swallow. Not only is our (I'm employed there) mascot the Bulldogs . . . our colors are ketchup and mustard! :emoji_astonished:

Not sure. I believe it was bought by maybe a municipality or county at some point decades ago. I will ask around next time I talk with that side of the family and maybe dig up some info.

That's the best the Bolts have looked in this series. Very confident and in control.

The Buffalo Blues were a professional baseball club that played in the short-lived Federal League, which was a ... full-fledged outlaw major league ..(in 1914-1915). It was the last major league baseball team to be based in the city of Buffalo. Wikipedia

I grew up in MN so it's kind of like the law that you must be a hockey fan. ;):D Between the Minnesota North Stars moving to Dallas and me moving to FL I forgot about it for awhile. Then Tampa got the Lightning and as Aerosmith once said "back in the saddle again". When they hoisted Lord Stanley's Cup it was awesome. I have a picture of the celebration on the wall here in the Gator Room/Man Cave.

The toughness that the trade deadline additions brought have showed in the two wins. Maroon in particular.
Tomorrow is a huge game for Tampa. Big chance to get a stranglehold. Winning a series without Stamkos will be huge, especially if he returns healthy in round two.

Big win. Gotta get the hell out of this series and away from this team. Hate Columbus and the way they play.

Yep. Columbus makes the Bolts play the Blue Jacket's style of play. Fortunately, this year Tampa has learned how to play that game, and well. Quite a difference from last season. I look for the Lightning to close things out on Wednesday.

(And, I wonder if we will see Stamkos at all this postseason.)
