I know there are several Bolts fans here.
Anyone else completely exhausted from the historic 5OT game 1?? Wow!

Need Stamkos out there, but what a gutsy start! Thankfully Hedman is OK.

Glad to finally beat those clowns.

Unbelievable game. A real gut check. A very important game for the Bolts to win, I feel. Kudos to Hedman and Vasilevskiy, in particular. Great effort. ⚡

I haven't been watching much sports lately ... I thought the NHL went to a shoot out in a tie. Didn't know there were no shootouts in the playoffs.

Being a Preds fan Im more of a casual observer from here on out. Just want to see some good games. Hated that somebody had to lose that one. What a great game and epic effort by the Columbus goalie.

And the Florida Panthers still stink. I’ve watched them for years with same problems. Still can’t win face offs, still a slow skating team that needs to increase team speed, still draft poorly and have trouble identifying and evaluating talent, still sign free agents that don’t fit team concept, ...

They should at least change the rule THIS season, it caused multiple time changes and a postponement as all the Eastern Conference are sharing Toronto's arena.

Yep. I was flipping to the Rays during the intermission....Speaking of, Fenway has become Tropicana North. I think they have won 12 of last 13 in Boston, going for a 4 game sweep tonight. Snell looked very strong last night.

Yep, the Rays have owned the BoSox for a couple of years now. They resent it, too. You can see a bit of a rivalry boiling now. Snell did look good. About time he got stretched out enough to finish five innings. Not sure what these guys were doing during the shutdown, but, they should be really loose by now.

I grew up in St. Pete, and, there are plenty in the Tampa Bay area, too. Strange because I had never even seen a hockey puck in my life growing up, but, there are lots of northern transplants and retirees in that area.

That is true, but you also have a generation that has grown up with a hockey franchise now. Guys my age (40's) and their kids are lifetime Bolts fans.

My kids are and they have never lived in Florida. They root for my teams thankfully. We go see them in Raleigh, and my 10 year old son was hanging on every shot in game one. We were dancing around the house when Brayden ripped it home.

If the bats can stay hot, this team has a shot. 3 of 4 from the Yanks and now at least 3 (maybe 4 straight) in Boston, all with the bats clicking.

The rookie Slegers fresh out of the Alternate Training Site did get welcomed to the big leagues in the 8th. Dude is 6'10" though. Ball is half-way to the plate when it leaves his hand.
