i guess since all the protesters and rioters did not help spread the disease, it must be ok to crowd beaches, go to outdoor concerts, attend outdoor sporting events, they are, after all, outdoor like the protests and riots.

Only if they are Dems. If it’s religious or for anything that they don’t agree with they will say it’s killing people.

It would be useful going forward to know why the protests did not spread COVID. One study speculated that everyone else stayed home. So there was no community spread. But it doesn’t make sense.

Spread is harder outside where there is air. Now, they are closing indoor places, but not outside. They are encouraging people to get out and get air, but wear masks and distance. Much different than sitting next to the same person at a game for 3 hours. Also, at the time of the protests, people were staying home a lot more. So, if there was spread, the failure to trigger community spread might be explained by care taken by others. Much we don’t know.

That's 60 more economists than there are on Trump's task force to reopen THE ECONOMY!

I realize it might be confusing since Kudlow is the director of the national economic council. He did play an economist on TV

You might try reading the study before you comment on it. Just a suggestion. Also, Forbes is not a left wing site. Except in really fringe circles.

Why and how? Schools are about as complex an enterprise as one can imagine. Every single school has thousands of moving parts: Administration, staff, faculty, parents and then there are the tasks - curriculum, delivery, testing, special services, meals, etc.

Good news is cases are falling (for now) so we probably aren’t too far from peak deaths short term.
