She was FAR more careless, rude and threatening with her weapon than he was with his. Her finger was clearly on the trigger, I never saw his within the trigger guard. I'm guessing she had a few more glasses of wine with dinner than he did.
The “good guy with a gun” narrative would be a lot more persuasive if y’all didn’t rally behind irresponsible gun owners like these folks. Just saying.
That's a fair point on the trigger. I'd have to rewatch the video, and it was a little hard to tell, but I think in the earlier video when the first few protesters were walking through the gate, he was pointing his rifle at them and shouting from his side yard.
In the beginning that gate was intact, but there are numerous signs indicating that the neighborhood is private. But these are liberal-schooled kids so you have to give them a pass for not being able to read a sign. It's also not a public road they were walking down. That road was added as part of the subdivision's HOA, not by the city, so the HOA owns the rights to the road. The residents who live in that zone paid for it themselves via the HOA as part of a one-time assessment. I had to do that with the condos my mom and brother live in. I paid $1,500 to re-pave the road inside the condo. That means anyone who doesn't live inside the condos are trespassing on private property, which the sign leading into the condo indicates. But the condo reserves the right to prosecute which never happens. Same thing here and you can use Google Maps street view to see the entrance to the subdivison.
Sadly you are right. She spent half the time standing behind her husband sweeping the back of his head with the muzzle numerous times. But as I have stated multiple times before, this is very common in stressful situations with minimal experience or training.
Protesters wrong, home owners appear to be nuts. Prosecutors lost impartiality. They just said the best course of action is a diversion program...... case never should have been filed as it is unwinnable . They will end up dropping charges and looking dumb.
Poster wrong, but home owners do appear to be nuts. Prosecutors properly applied law to facts. Couple should jump on diversion program...case is winnable if jurors also properly apply law to facts. Couple will also wind in trouble with Missouri Bar.
Only One juror needed to believe they felt threatened. Waste of time and resources. It would be a show trial.
LOL, what do you think happens if one juror doesn't agree? Hung jury, start over. You also don't understand the law, it's not enough that they felt "threatened." That's why I've been stressing the State will be looking for educated jurors who will listen to their instructions...to avoid the type of conclusions you keep making.
Apparently these two are going to speak at the RNC ... can republicans really not do better than this to fill their time slots, I mean, they are only famous for committing the crime of pointing guns at unarmed black people? Why not Ceasar Sayoc? c? McCloskeys: St. Louis couple who pointed guns at protesters to speak at Republican convention - CNNPolitics
Cesar Sayoc is in prison, and the prison denied the request for him to be able to film a zoom speech.
They should just rename the Republican party to something like OwnTheLibs party. That's all they care about since they have nothing else to run on. I saw some people talking about how great a Tucker/Shapiro 2024 ticket would be because liberal heads would explode. That's all the party stands for at this point.
