They tore down the gate to gain access for their peaceful march through the neighborhood. I guess milk and cookies would have been better.
Filth? Really? This post speaks volumes. That couple broke the law, nothing to drum up. The state bar association will be taking a look at this as well.
The claim that the protesters broke down the gate has been central to defense of the two homeowners with guns. Oh, well ....
The McCluskey's should have stayed in their stone fortress, and watched the parade go by. Anyone who runs outside to threaten passersby are either looking for publicity, or crazy menaces to society. All the overwrought descriptions of beatings, and burnings, and "we feared for our lives!" are transparent attempts to make the crazy overreaction seem more reasonable.
The volumes that are being spoken are those of your defense, sympathy, and/or complicity in the rioting, looting, destruction, and even murders of the last few weeks.
What rioting, looting, destruction and murders were occurring in this case? That's an irrelevant deflection and you know it. In a nation that enshrines free speech as its very first amendment, why do you immediately associate the exercise of that free speech, in the interest of justice no less, with "filth" or "scum", or "thugs" as is frequently used? Why does our President who you actively defend and support not only engage in those type of insults of innocent protesters engaged in 1A protected speech, but uses police and military to attack those innocent protesters, and advocates for more of the same across this country? I am trying to understand how "conservatives" who purportedly value and embrace our constitution could think like this.
It’s funny looking at this and watching smart people saying stupid shit again. The man with AR is fine and within his right to open carry. The wife pointing her gun at people is screwed and lucky not to have been shot.
There is a picture floating around of her pointing the handgun at the back of her husband's head with her finger on the trigger. I can't look at it, so much cringe. She needs to sign up for a firearm safety class and spend some time on the range before she tries defending her house like that.
I’m sorry that this doesn’t fit your narrative but free speech does not include: 1. Looting Target Stores 2. Burning Autozone Stores 3. Destroying shopping districts in New York and Chicago 4. Looting malls in Atlanta 5. Burning police cars 6. Destruction of monuments 7. Arson on churches If you believe that they are, then you and I have, let’s just say irreconcilable differences.
Don't know about you, but I would be much less prone to take any of these 4 actions if there was a imminent threat of getting shot while doing so (of course I wouldn't take any of the above 4 actions anyway). Sometimes prevention is the best cure.
