We are Americans and we are stubborn, but you’re moving the goal posts if this isn’t about death anymore. Sorry if not everybody wants to go along with your plan of shutting it all down for half a year. If you like how they did it in France, then move to France. Nobody stopping you.

No. But they are the talking point. There is no discussion of ICUS maxing out and the long term consequences because they don’t fit the talking points. 250,000 deaths would be a win and worth spiking the ball to celebrate for these people because that figure is fewer ran 1000 deaths a day. 952 deaths as of an hour ago is something to celebrate in Trump world. They have no choice to put cologne on a turd and say it smells good. Because that is what they have given us. And they can’t get re-elected unless they sell people that the turd smells great.

France had an opening economy. Travel. Had fans at a soccer game Sunday. You are right. We are nothing like them. We have leadership driven by ignorance and are paying the economic consequences for our stupidity.

I heard he cut the government agencies responsible for handling people being struck by lightning too. Sickening, as more people will die this year from lightning strikes in the U.S. than from the Coronavirus.

Libs be like: Look at France. They are so smart.

Yet... Our per capita death total would be a fourth of France if not for that idiot Cuomo.

Death rates have gone down everywhere due to better treatments. NY/NJ got slammed early and their high death rates early on reflect that. But average deaths have tripled in Florida since the beginning of June. So 3 times more people in Florida are dying from covid than a month and a half ago. Nationally deaths are on the rise too and I'm afraid we will be averaging 1000 per day before long. As is, we've increased from an average of 515 deaths per day 2 weeks ago to 760 deaths per day now. That number will continue to go up.

The first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in S. Korea the same day as it was in the US. Today, we had nearly 1000 deaths. S Korea? Less than 300 deaths in total!

Sure, it's a smaller country, but why can they be so successful in containment, and us so poor?

As I've explained a 1,000 times, we are not South Korea. They have had more experience with pandemics and take matters more serious. I said this months ago, so I'm not surprised we're having such a large spread four months later. As a people, we're just not disciplined enough to shut our lives off for two or three months the way they can in South Korea. The reason the governors are so reluctant to do anything meaningful right now is because the people simply don't want it and neither do the corporations. Of the people, by the people, for the people. That is not South Korea.

Yes, like my prediction the other night that the Detroit protesters would return the day after the body cam video dropped. You remember mocking me about that one too?

please show me where I said I wanted to shut it all down for half a year. You can't, no more than you can intelligently defend the carnival barker that is occupying the WH or his band of sycophants. It has never been just about the death count to most intelligent people

perhaps you should move to Mexico or Brazil with the other deniers and help them dig some more graves
