Not parade - trespass and then threaten according to various reports. Call the police - if progressives had their way, a social worker would be dispatched. But you have your opinion and I respect that, good to see you this fine Saturday
The only people I saw threatening were the ones holding the guns. As for trespassing on the private street and sidewalk, that's a matter for law enforcement. They weren't on that couple's property or trying to go into the house. They were simply cutting through the street on their way to the mayor's house. Good to see you as well.
Concerned, certainly. Even alarmed is understandable, I guess. Running outside does not convey fear, however. It conveys anger.
You feel sorry for the triggered couple that ran out of their mansion waving guns around and threatening people?
My Dobermans aren’t police trained but I can guarantee you that all you would have seen were asses and elbows if I let them out at something like that
My days in the field taught me to understand dogs and how to deal with them. As an owner you have the ability to teach them "sic 'em" or "he's cool", and as the pro, you know how to act with Fido. Dogs do have amazing senses for danger or no danger. However it is an interactive strategy. If Uncle Bob and Aunt Betty come over, Rover needs to stay in check. As well as when are professionals providing services. The only time I got bit was by a little yap dog smaller than my cat LOL. I've dealt with dobies, shepherds, pit bulls, the whole 9. As long as the owners are responsible, it's cool. That being said, if some knucklehead tries to break in, it would suck to be him.
Whether it’s a mansion or an outhouse is completely irrelevant. It is their property. It is behind their fence. They had a right to defend it and the trespassers had NO right to be there. Your illogic on this puzzles me. I thought you guys were only capable of this level of ridiculousness when it came to Trump. I suppose that I underestimate you.
You would piss your pants if someone pushed open a barricade and walked down your street? I have been in some pretty hairy shit in my life, I don’t think that would bother me much. I would be much more concerned about the two idiots who seem to have zero knowledge on how to handle firearms.
Here is what I have learned in this thread. People overreact and do stupid stuff when faced with "scary" people in their neighborhood, and my dog is a big sissy. Her name is Sunny and her personality fits her name. I prefer it that way.
Gate is held open... no smashing. People walking down the street. No one is over the fence in their yard.
So these two have sued their neighborhood association in the past, multiple times apparently. They wanted the neighborhood to uphold an original 1871 agreement in selling properties exclusively to "certain" people (I'm sure we all know what that means. Missouri in 1871? Nah.). The neighborhood allowed a gay couple to move in and they didn't want them in. They sued and appealed the case all the way to the state Supreme Court where they lost. "The gays" now reside in their apparently not-now exclusive neighborhood.
