These statistics should indicate to anyone / everyone that something is not working well with current US strategy.

Considering over 120,000 people were hospitalized from the flu last year just through January, we better do something before flu season hits or its going to be a real mess.

They should be mandatory, I know that can't be enforced but maybe insurance companies can tell policy holders that if they are hospitalized from the flu and they didn't get a flu shot then they are 100% responsible for that medical bill.

thankfully the people most susceptible to the flu are the same people being extra cautious right now for Covid. Expect flu hospitalization numbers to be way down this year.

Well as a liberal maybe you should just give your brain cells away to people who do nothing to earn them. ;)

I could be wrong here but I seem to recall from some class a took a long time ago that the US might be a little larger than these countries

If population size was the determining factor (and you know it's not):

Compared to Germany we should have 1,220 new cases
Compared to Denmark we should have 570 new cases
Compared to Norway we should have about the same as Denmark
Compared to Sweden we should have about 290 new cases

Herd immunity may not be possible with coronavirus, as some people lose antibodies after a few weeks.

Coronavirus herd immunity may be 'unachievable' after study suggests antibodies disappear after weeks in some people

Apparently, all those toilet lickers and Petri Dish Party-goers may be getting themselves infected for nothing. Because there is a chance they will get it again.
