Dang. Just spent $35 on 8 beers. They are tallboyz though. It has a CV connection. One of the 4 packs was a beer called Elbow Fives. It's at least the 2nd beer I've drank with a CV theme.

Oh, I also saw this while there. I've seen it before. This is one of the most intriguing breweries IMO. An artist + brewer & don't know if they still are, but they are nomad brewers that use others' facilities.

dont think so, only 4 small case states left to report, of course states keep updating all the time, why not pick 1 time to report and do it then,

Even if we do blow past 40,000, you will explain why it's not such a bad number, right?

Yeah you can't really claim the numbers are up because of testing then compare the percent positive going down.

At Least 18 Members Of A Texas Family Have The Coronavirus After A Surprise Birthday Party
At Least 18 Members Of A Texas Family Have The Coronavirus After A Surprise Birthday Party

While they aren't certain if the virus started spreading among the family at the May 30 party, Barbosa, 53, who did not attend the gathering, said that based on the time they started to see symptoms, it seems like the initial transmission among family members happened that weekend.

"It’s a big loving family that gets together all the time and they have dinner and this just happened to be a surprise birthday dinner," Barbosa said.

He said he believes his nephew, who hosted the party for his wife, was first exposed to the disease at work and that he had a cough on the day of the gathering. Earlier in the day, some of the men in the family went golfing together.

I just noticed our current 7-day moving average for new cases is at its highest ever and will be even more so after today.

Do you think it is a mutated strand or is this just carelessness from a group?

A group? Like all the protestors who were shoulder to shoulder? Possible. It's possible.

Don’t be snarky or make it political, it was an honest question.

i believe he was implying protesters standing shoulder to shoulder was careless, just like some like to say rallies w/o masks are careless, again, it cuts both ways.

So if I gather correctly, when we open up there is going to be a surge. Aren’t we back on the trajectory we were on before the shutdown?

    Was it worth it?

I wasn’t talking about rallies or protesters. I asked why he thought this was a strand mutation. It seems like carelessness from people, not a mutation.

Based on my mother in laws reports (she is a retired nurse who has now had two separate cases of COVID, it is a mutation. First time, periodic bouts of high fever, severely retarded lung function, diarrhea and vomiting, and kidney pain.
This time, fever and sore throat.
Both times positive test for COVID, first one nearly killed her, this one wouldn’t keep her home except that it endangers others.

We have had reports of it impacting people differently. Does that necessarily mean it is a different strain?
I am not saying it isn’t, just asking.
Also, my original post was Questioning why poster thought it was a different strain just because it spread rapidly. Hasn’t it always spread rapidly, especially with careless behavior.
