MLB predictions: Who will thrive, struggle in 60-game season? A reference to AJ Puk... “A.J. Puk. This is as much about a type of player who could succeed as this specific player, but I'm very intrigued by young high-upside arms who can pitch in a variety of roles as the season goes. I’ve been thinking this a bit and decided to throw it out there and see if any of y’all have had the same or similar thoughts— With the regular MLB season being a 162 game schedule (as everyone knows) and for this “season” being cut back to now 60 games it makes me wonder— Basically a 60 game schedule is more or less the equivalent to a full D-1 season. I’ve began to almost hope to see the type enthusiasm for the game by the MLB players that we as college fans love. I don’t really have a feel for how I think MLB players are going to go about their business of a 60 game schedule + playoffs—but as much as we have all read from interviews with them about be so ready to get back to the game— Wouldn’t it be fun/refreshing to see the kind of passion for the game that feeds us all to continue to love the game at the MLB level if not but for only this 60 game season...... Anybody?

good question, I think the younger and hungrier will show up and the guys who are the true seasoned cream of the crop will play at their usual level, the middle is where I think there will be a tendency to go through the motions, that will be dangerous for some in that category as he youngsters will be out to make a name and grab a roster spot for 2021
