You should probably ask the person that actually gave you the "come on man", because it wasn't me. We have some trumpsters go through these threads and "come on man" or "disagree" with every comment that doesn't come from a trumpster. Doesn't bother me, just shows me I am on the right side of critical thinking.

we also have anti-trumpers who go through every pro-trump post and put come on man, dislike, disagree on all of them also, so again,be fair, it cuts both ways.
I hadn't noticed because I guess they don't do it to me. I get the same group of people always giving me the thumbs down. Like I said, it doesn't bother me. I read each post i vote on. There are some people on here I almost never agree with but I have upvoted them.

some people are so shallow, they see my screenname and always dislike my posts, get over the name people.
funny, over in the corona virus in florida thread, someone posted that there were 5,000 new cases today, but the % was only 8.5%, strange, no come on mans or spinning references made there, unlike when i post those type of things.
Trump deserves a huge amount of blame. He's encouraged people to 'liberate' their states. He encourages people to not wear masks by example and attitude. He discounts experts and science, pushes quack treatments, and attempts to minimize the problem by falsely blaming it on increased testing. And he's holding rallies when that's the last thing a president should be doing right now. We couldn't have a worse leader for this moment.
for the record, i am going to continue to post numbers i think are positive.daily deaths under 1,000 and dropping is a positive, the overall death rate dropping to below 5% is a positive, testing 700,000 a day when 6 weeks ago it was less than 300,000 is a positive. the overall positive % around 8% when 2 months ago it was almost 18% is a positive. if people think its spinning, to bad, some just do not like good things, just watch the evening news to keep getting the doom and gloom you want. of course the come on mans and dislikes are coming, but so what,i am a positive person.,
Dude, it’s one person who may have been fat fingered the reply. And now we have a pages of you complaining about it - if one person’s response bothers you that much this might not be the place for you. Or PM them and leave everyone else about it. I said I don’t agree with your interpretations sometimes but I respect that you are using real numbers to come to conclusions. But you are never going to please everyone, trying is a waste of time.
Why just post positive numbers? Why should the valence of the numbers be the driving factor in posting or not posting?
i am not trying to please everyone, i am trying to get people to treat my positive posts the same as they do others. more often than not, if i post positive numbers or good trends, they get negative reviews, others do the same and nothing is said about their posts, yet they are in line with what i post, again, all i want is people to be fair about what they like and dislike, just like some will always dislike pro-trump posts, some will always dislike anti-trump posts. again i get people do not like my screen name, would it be different if i was, say, newyorkgator, imo, yes.
because if you watch tv or read the papers, all you see is negatives, whats wrong with showing something good for a change?
Like I said, if stuff like that bothers you that much, this place might not be your wheelhouse. It was one person in the post that set this off, ask them why via PM, and if you don’t like their attitude, put them on ignore.
So let's say that most of the news is negative. Shouldn't the news be mostly negative? Wouldn't balanced or motivated curation of news to make it look better be a less accurate picture of the world?
because in a thread about coronavirus you have taken up chunks of 3 pages now complaining about one neg rep. It’s beyond silly. Either accept it or don’t, but the rest of us have been subjected to it enough.
