It's the mask issue that really exposes people. I understand why folks think we have to open everything up. And I pretty much agree -- we can't completely shut our economy down for long. The cost is just too high. But there is no reason to not wear a mask. Those who are opposed to that are either selfish, political, ignorant, or all of the above. It makes no sense to not wear a mask when you are indoors around other people.
I'm doing a refi on my house and had to have an appraiser come inside. She acted completely indignant when we asked her to wear a mask. She complained the whole time that the mask was making it hard for her to take pictures WITH HER CELL PHONE. She's a realtor so if I ever decide to sell I can cross one name off the list. Keep in mind my 73 year old mother in law lives here and we told the woman this. She still got irritated.

Every POTUS does that. (See Obama and NCHB-2). But the state is 100% the one to make that decision. That is not the job of the feds.

At my condo there are a group of men who head out to the patio every day at 4 o’clock to sit together, have a cold one, and talk. They are (guessing) ages 70 and up. Most definitely boomers. They are all Democrats and despise Trump. Not one time have I seen any of them wear a mask here or when they leave to go out. One of them, just got over a bout of throat cancer. The reason I’m posting this is to show that Democrats are also not following social and mask guidelines. So judging by my observations, Democrats must not believe in science.

Stewardess on flight yesterday from Tampa to Seattle had to threaten guy in first class that he would be moved to rear of plane and not permitted to fly Alaska again if he didn't wear mask. He finally pulled one out and put it on.

I differ, often makes my wife mad. To paraphrase, all it takes for evil to prosper is for good men to remain silent. Rude and disrespectful people often act that way because nobody calls them out on it. In Alaska now, very low number of cases, furnace service techs showed up with masks. Higher % people masked here than in Naples

this is a little off topic, but i do not understand the uproar over people getting fired for writting blm on their masks in stores. they know when they are hired that policy prohibits this, yet they do it anyway, maybe to support the cause, maybe to call attention to themselves, either way they made the conscious choice to disobey company policy, yet want to become martyrs for doing so, break the policy, refuse to change, get fired, simple as that.
