it was a overstatement, yes, but you will agree there were a good amount of people there just to vandalize.
how many from all the non-social distancing protesters? lets be fair in criticizing what side you are on when it comes to crowds, i am sure there were many more people at the protests than what will attend the trump rally, but, i guess that is lost on you, that they did not follow the guidelines, it's ok, they are just protesters, not trump supporters,
This is independent of that. What's wrong with discussing a new event without also bringing up protesting? I have seen a single person saying the protests won't cause some sort of increase. You must admit that 62k indoors is a bigger problem, right?
I assume we both watched, more or less, the same video of the looting and the burning. I’d go with thousands. Possibly tens of thousands. Millions wasn’t remotely in the realm of reality. I think gross exaggeration serves no useful purpose. Hyperbole makes these boards worse, not better.
The police said 200 out of thousands (and that only happened at the very first protest). We've had many more since then with zero violence so 200 out of that many is not a good amount to me. That's why I asked about your definition.
Well shoot, you may be right. I was going off of the number the other poster quoted. I'll let them explain and I'll do some digging.
According to the President. I actually heard him say they also have an additional 40,000 in the adjacent convention center. He also stated a million people wanted to be there. Just taking him at his word since he said it. A million waivers would have been insane!!
Just an FYI, Georgia has the highest new case count to date the day before the protests started. So, could they add to the count, absolutely, but cases in many states were already steadily increasing. The protests are one of MANY factors in increasing cases.
A large number of that 1 million reservation number is people who hate Trump. They are reserving tickets and not planning on showing up. TikTok users are trying to troll Trump's campaign by reserving tickets for Tulsa rally they'll never use - CNNPolitics
