One of the things I noted in the FL-corona thread is that the increase of death counts can be a little misleading. For instance, when FL had a 70-count jump, those were mostly cases being counted beyond even the most recent two weeks. For instance, the June 3rd report shows 10 consecutive days of single digit new death counts (from 5/24 through 6/2); now those numbers will be expected to rise somewhat over time as cases get counted, but we are down from the highs of 50's, 60's, and 70's back in mid-April. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
So, let me get this straight. The 70 deaths yesterday didn't happen yesterday, they were just reported yesterday and will be recorded as happening on some previous date?
updated world o meter stats as of 8:00 am EDT. There were 15 states that had a drop in active cases. There were 7 states with 1-2 deaths and 8 states with 0.
Initial jobless claims drop to 1.9 million Still brutal, but getting better every week. I continue to bring back furloughed workers.
Not meant to sound celebratory or negative towards Mexico, I just thought it an interesting stat worth sharing. As of 6/3, Mexico passed the United States in the number of Covid related deaths for a single day. Coronavirus tracker: GSK, Sanofi burned by Warp Speed picks; EU members launch COVID vax alliance
I think we have flattened the curve on this thread. The Thread is laughing from across the room as it dances with all the hottest threads at the thread prom.
Honestly Folks, in fairness, don't ya'll think Covid - 19 is under-reported? At least in some countries? I have never respected the Chinese info. Total BS IMO. They were building hospitals in two weeks to support the sick. No way I believe those totals, no way. Certainly the reporting in poorer nations must be off? Brazil and Mexico are getting hit hard now. Bolsenaro makes me want to puke.
Thread's gonna be around for a while. Virus ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Cases are going up in a lot of places.

I think the days of the police stopping people from being out and about are over due to the Coronavirus. If they are allowing protests to gather then any city will have a hard time enforcing a church or bar or stadium from having a gathering.
