Trump's coronavirus evolution. This would almost be funny if the subject matter wasn't a pandemic.

Wait til you see the collection of posts I started gathering on Feb 25. When we reach about the four month mark, I will share some of the things said about this virus, but all posters will remain anonymous. A timeline and chart of cases will be included.

I drove to Austin Friday to say goodbye to a college buddy I hired 26 years ago who was getting laid off. Had dinner at a lakeside restaurant. Not a single employee in a mask. Amazing.

even with texas having their high day, a day to be cautiously optimistic.new cases 21,712, almost 4,000 less than the previous 4 wednesdays; deaths 1772, again almost 6,000 less than 4 previous wednesdays, plus almost 336,000 tests done.this is the 4th or 5th straight day that numbers have gone down over the same day the previous 4 weeks, i guess the 64,000 dollar question is what happens at the start of next week when most states have been re-opened for 2 weeks, will we see a spike, or will we remain stable or continue to go down, maybe allowing states to move to phase 2 of re-opening.hope they go to at least 50% occupancy, especially in restaraunts, still see alot of sit down and fast food places take out or deliver only,, guess right now 25% occupancy is not cost effective, some employees are still not back to work.

Many fast food operations are UP since covid started using drive through only. Doubt they are itching to open back up till those numbers fall.

Most people recognize that there can be more than one problem. It is possible to hold China accountable for what they did wrong and still hold our leaders responsible for they got wrong. The intelligence community was beating the drum hard in late January and Trump refused to listen. His own HHS secretary tried to tell him late January, senators tried to tell him, he refused to acknowledge the problem and failed miserably to try and lead a national response. China lied, Trump believed them. Many good qualified people tried to tell Trump we needed to get ready, he refused to believe them and poof..80k dead and counting

Although this should be an international comment I suggest people look at what's happening in South Africa. 47 days lockdown, military and police enforcing it. NO alcohol purchased or home brewed and no cigarettes sales!
The country is going to erupt soon. This comes from my long time SA friend when we spoke tonight.

Current death rate per confirmed case is 6% and holding steady at that number. What leads you to believe that less "at risk" people will become infected as states open up? If anything I would suspect that % of at risk infections to go up
