Germany opens its economy back up, and the second wave starts within a week.

Germany's infection rate rises above one after they ease lockdown

I wonder if there is anything we should learn from this? Probably not.

It just seems a little odd, I know they have tested a higher percentage of the population than just about anyone. But they would have to be getting positive test results from people who are not experiencing any symptoms to attribute it to reopening their country up. People with symptoms would have been exposed prior to relaxing the restrictions.

Northeast China has an outbreak of coronavirus in the province of Jilin (27.5 million people). I don't know how many actual people got infected when the Chinese say that "14 people" got infected, but it has to be a bunch, because they declared it a "Level 3 High Risk area".

Northeast China hit by coronavirus infections, Wuhan reports new case

After allowing visitors back into a nursing home where my wife grew up they have a new outbreak there. Everyone that works there has to quarantine for 2 weeks.

The U.S. may have some wildlife roaming city streets during the lockdown, but it least we don't have to worry about running into a king cobra here. This happened in Singapore. Don't look at the video if handling large poisonous snakes make you nervous.

Fun fact: snakes are venomous, not poisonous. There are however two snakes that will do harm if ingested: the Oregon common garter snake (they feed on newts and inherit their poison), and keelback snakes which are actually venomous and feed on frogs. The frogs are poisonous like newts and thus the keelback snake has both venom and poison.
