If the full population of every state made a run on test kits like they did toilet paper.....there would be no where near enough.
Same. I started doing online core fitness videos with my wife, and we dusted off the bowflex. And we've been biking around the neighborhood. I've worked out more in the last month than I did in the previous year.
You seem to be working really hard to change reality. When this year is over and the mortality stats are compiled, how are you going to account for the hundreds of thousands of more deaths than we see on average?
Well sure. You can literally say that about every single item, medical or otherwise at any point in human history. I mean if every person in my state broke their leg tonight the ER's could not hold them. The fact is that everyone who WANTS to get tested can get tested.
For me: Zoom yoga, cycling the many gravel roads in the NF, walking and sometimes running jogging joggingish the steep hills around my house plus a home project that involves lifting very heavy stones just like this - only without so many muscles or vigor or youth or skill - ah hell its nothing like this.
Ouch! China is a propaganda machine and obviously full of shite. You can’t defend one thing the fake US said in that propaganda video though. Another new low, when I thought we were supposed to be winning.
Catching up on this thread, but that is why I found your Chinese propaganda video so interesting. They don’t even have to lie about our President’s response anymore.
well in maryland you need a doctors prescription to get one. And if you're perfectly healthy, no reason for a doctor to order one. For me, I have symptoms (dry cough, shortness of breadth) but my doctor has not ordered one because, based on the context of the symptoms he doesnt think I have coronavirus.
Canada succeeded on coronavirus where America failed. Why? There are a number of factors that have enabled Canada to perform at a higher level than the United States, including more consistent pre-virus funding for public health agencies and a universal health care system. But one of the most important seems to have been a difference in political leadership. The American response has become infected by partisan politics and shot through with federal incompetence. Meanwhile, Canada’s policies have been efficiently implemented with support from leaders across the political spectrum. The comparison is a case study in how a dysfunctional political system can quite literally cost lives. The easiest way to see the divergence between the two countries is to look at this chart of per capita cases across the epidemic, courtesy of Our World in Data:
