Three perfect reasons why it is so difficult to still be a Democrat after over 40 years. I loathe all 3 of those people.
I want to take a second and praise Mike DeWine's leadership. I may disagree with a number of his political stances, but this is yet another example of the tremendous leadership he has shown during the crisis: He is the sort of person who should be leading the Republican Party.
Wrong. There is proof. Symptoms etc. That said: this is a classic post. I see why you are so dream to this President. We lag in per capita testing, so rather than accept medical diagnoses of disease and cause of death, Jets just make our decisions in total ignorance and in disregard of everything they is happening in the world. Let’s just assume it was something else in the face of medical assessment. Decisions based on if ignorance and roll the dice. Because Trump’s base— you— are willing to roll the dice. Because experts should be discounted and decisions based on ignorance and in the dark.
No. The fringe right is arguing survival of the fittest. Somehow, if people with underlying conditions die, they mitigates it for them.
Fair enough about not reframing, but I don't think it's ridiculous to think that many who are calling for opening things up are doing so simply out of self-interest. Not when the arguments against closing it down were based on the things I mentioned above, all of which are aguments hat have been made on here and outside here. And not for anything, but there is not any rational, reasonable person that wouldn't love to have things getting back to normal and would have loved to not have to go through this because even if some folks have it better in this sh*tshow, it's still a sh*tshow.
Excellent post, lawyer man. Some folks cower, others rise. DeWine has no doubt the latter. He def deserves the praise.
This makes me feel better knowing that we have a former dog breeder now leading the pandemic task force. I mean if 6 years running a labradoodle breeding operation doesn't qualify you then nothing will. Special Report: Former Labradoodle breeder tapped to lead U.S. pandemic task force At what point will they realize how truly incompetent T is?
going to go out on a limb here and say that about 90% of those posting on this thread are anti-trump, if so, where were all of you in November 2016 when you could have had Hillary.time for all the negative posts, the dislikes, etc.do not disappoint me
so once again I ask, show me 100% proof all the people they say died of covid19 w/o being confirmed having it, you cannot, and will never be able to.just admit the medical community in ny/nj was to overwhelmed to take the time to make a proper cause of death determination so the took the easy way out, not saying they did so on purpose, just lacked the time to do it right
maybe I should just start automatically disliking any anti trump post like so many of you do for pro trump posts, after all it is partisan politics.
what I really would like to do is go back before the election and get a list of all the sorry, worthless Hollywood celebs, the rock stars, tv people who said if trump won they were going to move to Canada, mexico, Europe and ask them why their sorry asses are still in the US, all talk and no follow up, pathetic.
I agree that we should social distance during the flu. I think after going through this with Covid most will practice social distancing, better sanitation and employers will require employees with fevers to stay home. I will agree the Covid virus is more deadly than the flu for those who have underlying conditions, but I also still believe this is a lot like the flu still and how it spreads and those who gets affection . The flu has been around for years, the vaccines we currently have really don't work that well in preventing it especially if you have underlying conditions. Look at how many Americans get the flu each year and don't die, why is that? Once Covid has been around for a few years like the flu people will still get affected, a percentage like the flu with underlying conditions will die no matter what we do, like the flu there will be no reason to lock down our country. Most of us will build immunity to this like the flu will still get it and require us to stay at home for a period of time. I've thought about the shut down, I think the main reason was an attempt to slow down the virus so the hospitals didn't get overwhelmed. Like the Flu you can't prevent this from spreading unless we would have had a complete lock down which is immpossible. I also believe the those affected with the virus would have still been the same with no lock down, but those with underlying conditions it definitely helped. Like you and others we have based our opinions on what we've read and our beliefs. I understand yours and many others concerns and I would say you need to do what you feels best for yourself and your family. That's what I've always done for my family and I will continue living my life that way. I hope all of you get through safely.
You should realize, but will not, that people don’t dislike your posts because they are pro tromp. They dislike them for their content - or usually lack thereof. Much like Trump the man, you don’t need to go far to find issues with his judgment, personality, behavior, and performance on the job. Also, it is interesting to watch people who preach about “the sanctity of life“ tell people “well you were going to die anyway.“ They will tell a young woman who was raped that she can’t make a medical decision because of the “sanctity“ of a fetus. But if their stock holdings go down, all bets are off and the elderly, sick, and disabled Full adults are on theIr ownAnd their deaths are ok.
