LOL, South Korea has one airport that would be in our Top 5 largest airports so naturally, that means they have the equal amount of international travel as the U.S. ‍Smh..

It is plausible, but Fox’s sources are about as credible as the Onion. Probably some political clowns in the Trump admin wanting to shape a narrative rather than science based.

I believe the actual scientific community is leaning towards blaming wet markets, saw some articles claiming DNA evidence. But I don’t believe it’s 100% conclusive yet, so I think we can still be open to this other possibility until more research comes out.

While all the lefties were here mocking Trump for his trade tiff with China, in reality, China was losing trillions of dollars in equity. They took it on the chin, to say the least, while our stock market kept setting new record highs. Anytime you talk about damages in the trillions, anything like this is certainly a possibility.

Want to guess where it would rank in the US in terms of international travelers? 1st. It has more international travelers than any US airport. In fact, more than double. Swing and a miss again.

Would you rather use the antibody test or nasal swab for active infection to determine when to reopen the economy? Do we need both test done to make a critical decision like that?

After Anonymous Tip, 17 Bodies Found at Nursing Home Hit by Virus
By Monday, the police in a small New Jersey town had gotten an anonymous tip about a body being stored in a shed outside one of the state’s largest nursing homes.

When the police arrived, the corpse had been removed from the shed, but they discovered 17 bodies piled inside the nursing home in a small morgue intended to hold no more than four people.

“They were just overwhelmed by the amount of people who were expiring,” said Eric C. Danielson, the police chief in Andover, a small township in Sussex County, the state’s northernmost county.

The 17 were among 68 recent deaths linked to the long-term care facility, Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center I and II, including two nurses, officials said. Of those who died, 26 people had tested positive for the virus.

Yes, you swung and missed again. How many international travelers does it have compared to JFK, La Guardia and Newark combined? Airports all within 20 miles or less of each other. Oh yeah, let's not forget the dozens of other huge international airports in the United States. But sure, South Korea has that one big one, lol. You're embarrassing yourself. Just. Stop.

You just can't stop digging can you? It has 17 million more international travelers than Newark, JFK, and La Guardia combined. It total has more than 1/4 of the international travel of the entire US. In a country with a population of 1/6 of the US. The idea that Korea isn't connected internationally all that much is completely absurd. There is a reason that they had their first case at the same time as us. Let me know when you dig all the way through to Wuhan.

Top Israeli prof claims simple stats show virus plays itself out after 70 days

Top Israeli prof claims simple stats show virus plays itself out after 70 days
A prominent Israeli mathematician, analyst and former general claims simple statistical analysis demonstrates that the spread of COVID-19 peaks after about 40 days and declines to almost zero after 70 days — no matter where it strikes, and no matter what measures governments impose to try to thwart it.

Prof Isaac Ben-Israel, head of the Security Studies program in Tel Aviv University and the chairman of the National Council for Research and Development, told Israel’s Channel 12 (Hebrew) Monday night that research he conducted with a fellow professor, analyzing the growth and decline of new cases in countries around the world, showed repeatedly that “there’s a set pattern” and “the numbers speak for themselves.”

While he said he supports social distancing, the widespread shuttering of economies worldwide constitutes a demonstrable error in light of those statistics. In Israel’s case, he noted, about 140 people normally die every day. To have shuttered much of the economy because of a virus that is killing one or two a day is a radical error that is unnecessarily costing Israel 20% of its GDP, he charged.

But Ben-Israel said the figures — notably from countries, such as Singapore, Taiwan, and Sweden, which did not take such radical measures to shutter their economies — proved his point. (He also posted a Hebrew paper to this effect on Facebook, with graphs showing the trajectories.)

When Barbash cited New York as ostensible proof that Ben-Israel was mistaken, Ben-Israel noted the latest indications from New York were precisely in line with his statistics that indicate daily new cases figures peaking and starting to fall after about 40 days.

Asked to explain the phenomenon, Ben-Israel, who also heads Israel’s Space Agency, later said: “I have no explanation. There are all kinds of speculations. Maybe it’s related to climate, or the virus has a life-span of its own.”

N.Y.C. Death Toll Soars Past 10,000 in Revised Virus Count

The city has added more than 3,700 additional people who were presumed to have died of the coronavirus but had never tested positive.

This is why the models their showing are so far off.

The virus has now been spreading between humans for 6 months. The statement about it having a lifespan of its own is ludicrous

it ticked back up to 68,000+ three days ago when they last updated it. They are due for another update soon and I suspect it will be revised upwards again.

There were millions of vehicles that didn’t drive there. This is politically motivated to gin up the base. The right is moving away from the left is “alarmist fake news to take down Trump” which was proven wrong to the “left is taking away your rights and freedoms as a power grab”. There wouldn’t be a political movement on the right without them being a victim of some insidious plot to take over the world on the left.
