Which is why I will continue to wonder if we would have more compliance with self isolation if the message was vehemently stressed to the high risk populations rather than to try to get the entire country to comply. Not saying it would work better but I wonder.

I hope a miracle vaccine is developed. I pray that this thread does not beat the Kelly thread.

You can cherry pick certain stats all you want and act like France being called the #1 healthcare system in the world by the WHO is meaningless, but it doesn't prove that there's a waiting list for tens of thousands of people to get tested for Coronavirus here in the U.S. That is a false narrative that is being perpetuated to make the administration look bad.

Most masks that people wear will not prevent them from getting the virus

While they aren't nearly as good as N95 respirators they do help. Masks can help lower the viral load even if the particles are too small to all be filtered. Also the masks should be used (in conjunction with all the other hygiene measures) to keep viruses from flying 6' from an infected person's mouth. Since the incubation period is so long everyone should just assume they have it and wear the masks.

The masks aren't to prevent us from getting the virus, they are to prevent us from sharing the virus. My mask protects you, your mask protects me.

Bluster won't make you any more right. I have been consistent on my position on testing. It has proven right continuously. If you can find some evidence that the necessary amount of testing doesn't vary with disease spread or that any of the articles I posted are factually incorrect, let me know. Outside of that, we will chalk this up to you not just being wrong (again) but loudly and belligerently so.
