IRS says it delayed the process as they had to recode the printing process to add HIS name. I honestly believe that if he could he would put his name on all money " In Trump we trust"
The difference is between the last four years and the previous 8 is that most complaining about Obama was rooted in racism and lies. The complaining about Trump is rooted in facts and wanting a competent, presidential adult that isn't a fat narcissist in the white house.
0 had plenty of warts. Totally mishandled the hot mess in Iraq by centralizing the aid through Baghdad which marginalized the Sunni. Launched the arab spring movement before abandoning Syria which launched Isis and the great muslim migration to Europe. Sat on his hands while watching defenseless Isis caravans roll across open Iraqi desert to Mosul to raid the banks and weapons there to expand their grip on vast parts of the area. His dismissive attitude of the opposition is a big root cause of the disenfranchisement of millions that gave T his base. you are just showing your team colors acting like 0 didn't have major lapses in leadership or that 0 didn't lead in the wrong direction
Never said he didn't have his issues, no president is perfect. But his dismissive attitude of the opposition was because they were asking for his freaking birth certificate, called him a muslim, and were generally pretty prejudiced towards him.
Meat shortage could be coming soon as processing plants are forced to close As some food workers across the U.S. are becoming infected by the coronavirus, some plants that process beef, pork and poultry are shutting down -- raising the specter of meat shortages. With the plant closures, the worry is that consumers will be impacted by shortages and higher prices. In recent weeks, consumers also faced grocers putting buying limits on beef and chicken because of stockpiling. ...............…........... “It is impossible to keep our grocery stores stocked if our plants are not running," Sullivan said. "These facility closures will also have severe, perhaps disastrous, repercussions for many in the supply chain, first and foremost our nation’s livestock farmers. These farmers have nowhere to send their animals.”
The ole racism card gets played yet again. Congrats I thought we were past that but you just can’t help yourself. Here’s the truth but I’m sure many wont accept it. Obama has his failures just like anyone else. It was not seeded in racism and lies. One can point out failures without being a racist. His supporters (Democrats) will claim any criticism is all lies and well some say racism as well. Trump has his failures as well, please spare us the same ole same ole “it’s all failure” as I’m tired of it. His supporters (Republicans) will claim any criticism is all lies as well. Anyone following the trend here? It’s called crying and complaining over an outcome (the election) that isn’t going to change.
Hey bud, where did I say Obama didn’t have his failures? But let’s not live in denial here - many of those who were not a fan of his wasn’t because of those failures. Just because you aren’t prejudiced, doesn’t mean other people aren’t. There is no trend of crying over an election, rather it’s continuing to pile onto the daily mishaps of Trump. I dislike Trump, he isn’t a leader, I think he is one of the most despicable human beings alive, I don’t want him to be re-elected. Outside of that I don’t care about republicans or dems. Bush, Clinton, Obama all had their fair share of mishaps, but they at least handled themselves with class. They were leaders.
Stanford professor claims coronavirus death rate 'likely orders of magnitude lower' than first thought Stanford professor claims coronavirus death rate 'likely orders of magnitude lower' than first thought "Per case, I don't think it's as deadly as people thought," Bhattacharya told host Tucker Carlson. " ... The World Health Organization put an estimate out that was, I think, initially 3.4 percent. It's very unlikely it is anywhere near that. It's it's much likely, much closer to the death rate that you see from the flu per case." "The problem, of course, is that we don't have a vaccine," Bhattacharya added. "So in that sense, it's more deadly and more widespread than the flu, and it overwhelms hospital systems, the ways the flu doesn't. The professor predicted that forthcoming research would give scientstists and health officials a "much more accurate understanding of how widespread this is." "It really seems like there's many, many cases of the virus that we haven't identified with the testing regimens that we've got around the world," he said. "Many orders of magnitude more people have been infected with it, I think. I think that we realize that ... means that ... the death rate is actually lower than people realize, also by orders of magnitude." Bhattacharya told Carlson he was less afraid of the virus than when he began his research, adding that he hoped the improved numbers would help Americans deal with their fear of the virus. "I'm hoping to get numbers in place," Bhattacharya said. "We'll be able to really sort of quell the fear that's out there."
Nonsense. If the symptom course follows the symptoms of this virus, it is proper to count the deaths. Go ahead and look at the methodology for what they did. Don’t speculate on how they did it Medical and cause of death diagnosis is done this way all the time. They don’t need to use limited tests on dead people. They don’t need an autopsy to diagnose a heart attack death if there is left arm and chest pains and the patient’s heart stops. This disease has a regular course in the severe stages. Then again, from the day Trump talked about the numbers going from 15 to zero, we have known that reducing the numbers counted has been his goal: just like voting.
He made this argument last week and even back in March. In fact, most people have long recognized that we didn't know the full extent of the death rate because we don't know the full population of those who have gotten sick. This has led to th projections that, basically must project a much higher death count based on rates we do know and on assumptions that researchers cannot truly know whether they are correct or not because they don't know the full spread. In addition, this would need to be before we took any social distancing and shut down measures--or at least they would have to be factored in since the notion of possibly millions dying, contingent upon the possibility that hundreds of millions could be sickened. This was a real possibility, maybe even high probability. It was also based on not doing anything, i.e. uncontrolled spread. He rightly mentions that the problem is that we don't have a vaccine. As a novel animal virus, we also don't have any natural immune defense that would boost herd immunity. And we won't know for quite some time just how much or long lasting of such a defense will be for those who have gotten sick and survived this virus. There's also much that is overlooked in terms of how much people have suffered, even if they survived as well as long term effects. I'm curious as to what we'll see about how we treat it in the near future too based on what we've learned thus far. But given we're in the midst of this pandemic, there are more immediate concerns for individuals/the public. Improved numbers would benefit Americans not only with managing their fear, but with understanding better how things need to proceed. What I worry about is that many Americans still don't understand the nature of the threat we face. That threat hasn't gone away and won't until we have a vaccine. There have been several high profile defiant types who paid for their defiance or indifference with their lives. If their deaths can have any significance beyond an unnecessary loss of human life, it's in the lesson about the underappreciated grave potential of infectious disease The rest of should respect that potential.
There's no denying that the response to COVID has saved lives. No school shootings! 'Heartbreaking Statistic': Thanks to Pandemic, Last Month Was First March Since 2002 Without a US School Shooting
No. We now have gun control - put some coronavirus particles on all guns. Sheesh, I thought that was obvious to everybody
Conservatives on the last 2 pages are wrong.. again. Back when Obama was president all the improving economic data and unemployment data specifically was deemed false and fake news because it didn’t fit the agenda. Now in the very same way righties question the accuracy of the CoVid-19 deaths because libs are fake news. This fake news mantra led by the leader of the republicans is responsible for killing Americans. Look at the responses of the few righties that still post here early on in this thread... they were wrong.
No his dismissive attitude was the result of decades spent being schooled by his mentors. He brought that condescending approach to the party and it endeared him to that base just like T's endears him to his base. And his misread of the ME cost millions of lives and has fundamentally changed Europe forever.
This is probably all New York driven, but this is the first good news for the US I have seen in 2 months.... Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center
