Here is the updated sheet using the numbers from world o meter. I put a recovered cases column but I am getting the number by sutracting active cases and deaths from total cases. Wyoming still has not had a death.

There have been many of the 'contagion' type movies, where the Pandemic is roaring and the scientists are racing to find therapeutics and/or a vaccine. They usually find something at the 11th hour... I can't remember one where the scientist say 'we found a cure, now lets submit it to the FDA for 1 year approval.

I know in this case it's early on, but let's get this rolling on a larger basis. I always thought if the cure comes from anywhere outside the U.S., it would be Israel (my opinion obviously)

In any case, with super computers and a very large sample size, i bet we can do something as far as a vaccine is concerned in 3-4 months. I'm sure we can get 5-10,000 people who would immediately volunteer for a trial.. To help the country. I'm 67 and i know i would.

Here’s a picture of the mass graves we dig every flu season in New York. Oh wait, you mean the flu doesn’t overflow mortuaries and funeral homes?

    We are digging mass graves.

    * Edited based on a comment doee down thread from Tilly - That is basically a potters field on Hart Island in NY. What is different is the spike in the volume of unclaimed bodies being interned here as a result of Covid 19.

The article was updated from yesterday.

They were pulling funding but must has received enough flack to reverse course.

The thought to pull funding should have never been on the table.

Wonder if I should get tested... am I running a fever?... cognitive and social awareness skills taking a hit... I really walked into that! :D

But in times like this, happy to be a straight man for your comedy.

If you guys want a ray of sunshine, I was literally in the ER Tuesday. Feel like a million bucks today, minus the fact I have coughed twice.

Not trying to downplay how serious this is as I saw patients that looked like they should be in the ICU versus ER.

What we are up against, sucks. I’m hopeful there are more cases like mine and less bodies being dumped into freezers.

Long way of saying, I think / am hopeful the recovered scenario will drastically improve. I’m an official stat for someone who tested positive. My follow-up test is a week from this coming Monday, know what the results will be as I am asymptotic today (knock on wood).

How long were you symptomatic? What were your symptoms? Maybe @LimeyGator and you can start a thread about your experiences?

This falsely conflates many parties in our national nightmare into 'passengers', but enlightening nonetheless when one substitutes an iceberg for convid-19.
