Perhaps someone decided to ignore the “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” slogan

Generally for these type of stats, 3 numbers is considered a trend.

how long does it take for a individual to be classified as recovered? right now there are less than 23000 listed ,seems that number should be much higher.will we start to see a huge upturn as days go on?

You’ve made a good point as I made a poor choice of words. I tried to characterize the good nature of my neighbor by contrasting his to the nature of someone he is not. I should have indicated that the words of many, including many active on this board, are words of anger and at times hate. There are some who even use these words with the intent to instigate partisan attacks and fights, to intentionally stir the pot. I see my poor choice of words did just that when it was not my intent.

I’m surely not perfect and the scripture in my signature is something I strive to achieve - a goal not yet an achievement. As a sinner I work everyday to overcome old, bad habits and my temporal ways.

Boy does that sound like bad luck, best wishes. You sound like you were on same routine as me. How frequently were you going out? I’m at grocery at least twice a week and what felt safe and ridiculous at first has only recently started to feel like a Petri dish to me.

Death rate continues to creep up. I think it’s crazy that 10% of those who test positive are dying in so many places. Really only Germany is low still and the statistical liars in China/Iran are reporting sub 10%

Actually, there is a reconciliation, explanation so my other post. Hope you understand.

"Why are you seemingly so angry?"

See, I could have posted the above question as I may have read you words as anger over my failings as a sinner. But, to avoid possibly instigating discord on this particular issue, I did not. Oh wait, I just did.:D I'm just not very sharp.

    Hold fast.

WTH is Barr doing on Fox as Trump's spokesman? He is basically an extension of trump at this point (whiny, playing victim......). He is sad trump is getting called out and doesn't understand why the media will take Dr. Fauci's opinion over trump on medical matters.

Clearly, the Attorney General has more pressing matters.

Barr claims media 'jihad' against Trump over promotion of anti-malaria drug

Just to be clear, our Attorney General used the word Jihad when describing the media. I can't comprehend how our chief law enforcement officer can use that kind of language. I get folks on the President's team defending him. That isn't hard to understand. I just can't understand the person the people are supposed to trust at the top of law enforcement using that kind of inflammatory language.

Jihad is a word carefully chosen by Barr to rile up the base. The comparisons are too obvious and intended for me to have to post them.

Ans POTUS could have avoided a lot of this simply by putting his more liquid assets like his equities holdings in a blind trust. It’s hard to put a personal services business in a blind trust (the alternative is to sell it) but a brokerage account is the easiest thing to do, yet he failed to do even that as far as I know.

Here is the updated sheet as of 8 am this morning. As I was entering the data I noticed several states where the number of active cases dropped and several states with no deaths yesterday. Wyoming still is at 0 deaths.

Barr was appointed because he had a well established track record of protecting criminals in the executive branch. Conservative columnist William Safire referred to Barr as "Cover up General" rather than Attorney General during his first go round under GHWB wrt his covering up numerous crimes related to Iran-Contra and Iraq-gate. Barr repeatedly lied to congress and hid evidence from congress during this period.

Barr laid out that resume for Trump and Trump told him to go to work defending him and his team.

The man should be in prison. Instead he is the top cop in the country.

We have become a banana republic.

When Trump announced this a few weeks ago, it sounded like a lot more than 41 sites.

TBF, to get tested you almost have to already know you've got it, so I don't think it's too surprising that the number is astronomical for now.

I do suspect we will learn that MANY more people have, will have, or have had it. IOW, that it will essentially work through us all, with basically no immunity.

And to be clear, this is not me feeding the winger conspiracy machine. Even if we do confirm the prevalence I suspect, that actually validates the response. If 200M people are going to get it, and it kills a mere 1%, and it all happens at once, then we are at the doomsday numbers the early "no action" models show.

The "merely a flu" crowd conveniently omits that the existence of the vaccine means we can keep the infection rate in the 10's of millions, have protocols for treatment that combat the kill rate, and frankly it isn't that easy to catch. I am a teacher and have never had it. I am holed up in house currently, and I fully expect to get this.
