Of course, you can't. The market sees signs of improving Covid-19 numbers here in the U.S. and is reacting accordingly. Still too early to call a peak in infection rate, but there is some hope in the latest numbers. Hence, the stock market bounce.

And one week after WHO decided not to declare it an emergency (on January 23rd), the organization reversed its original decision and did declare the outbreak a global health emergency (on January 30th).

You are not sure what the market is reacting to, but we did get this over the weekend so I don't get the optimism in these statements.

Then 7 days later they declared a globaly health emergency. I'm not sure what your post has to do with anything. WHO declares global health emergency and president Trump was claiming that this was going to disappear like a miracle and that the US had this totally contained over a month later.

 

BMI as a useful tool when looking at a large population but is generally a poor indicator on an individual basis. I have 15% body fat but am close to obese according to BMI as it doesn't distinguish between fat and muscle. Pretty much any football athlete would be obese according to BMI.

Every time I read one of these posts it comes across as a humble brag
