CoVid-19 is the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. The link to the visualization shows it over time. Some hoax. USA: COVID-19 vs. Top 15 Causes of Death
U.S. dairy farmers dump milk as pandemic upends food markets Between this and reading how crops are going to rot should put you on edge about food disruption in the new future.
Updated the spread sheet for deaths and cases through 8:30 EDT this morning. Total deaths yesterday were slightly below the day before, let's hope that is the start of a trend. Wyoming still has not had a death.
I think what you are asking is what it shows. Daily deaths with the covid19 adjusted as time goes on and for the other causes of deaths the daily average based on last year.
Was pulled into a call yesterday about a major healthcare facility in New York desperately looking for help with their patient load and spill over from a technology perspective. This is only a snap shot of what is to come if people don't stop being stupid.
A friend of mine is a nurse who works for a nursing staffing company. He told me has latest offer is to go to NVC for 8 weeks at $5,000 per week.
The president and his off the cuff, lack of information tweets has hit another company. Trump went off on 3M last night and caused the stock to drop off of misinformation and his lack off business understanding. Trump screams at 3M for still sending mask overseas while we need them here. 3M responds that if they cutoff shipments overseas, those countries will do the same amounting to a net loss of masks in the US because they ship more here then we ship to them.
I cant put into words how desperately they are trying to get a handle on this. Italy will look like a weekend cooking camp in comparison if people don't stop going out. Its not a killer, I mean it is, but not like other things we have seen. Some that get infected will not survive this simply because their body cant handle it, but those are few and far between. The fatality is simply from over crowding. The number of fatalities is directly proportional to the number of patients the healthcare systems can treat. Right now, in the densely populated areas, their are more cases than can be processed and that is leading to more deaths than there should be. That's what happened in Italy and that is what is going to happen here if the US population doesn't take this seriously. At this point, I dont see how people can still be so dismissive.
Its almost like 3M is a multinational conglomerate or something...crazy. It boggles the mind how narrow minded and simple that man seems to come off.
The head buyer for this stuff for the state of Florida was on tv last night and saying the same thing about 3M.
Probably just parroting Trump. The head of 3M was on CNBC just now explaining what is going from his end. Summary Since early on they have responded to every request of the govt and increased productivity. Before this situation, their primary business was to produce industrial masks and products, sell them to distributors and then the distributors set price and sold to business. Most production and product comes from overseas and the need for import from those countries needs to continue to meet demand.
I'm right there with ya my friend. I ran to the store to get a few things for the family about an hour ago and people were just walking right up on me. The same guy 3 times until I said "Dude, back the hell up!" I am sure it embarrassed him but damn.
