Let me know what you find out on the PPP/EIDL issue. I did not find anything in the CARES Act that indicated there would be. Hopefully, clarification will come from the SBA, this week.

She's a trooper. She did everything she could to sanitize herself after the exposure. She has pretty much just come to terms with the fact that working with enough patients will cause her to eventually get it. She's young (she'll be 37 this year) and relatively healthy so hopefully if she does get it she'll be ok.

Hospital workers don’t get enough praise from the general population.

Like most jobs, people have no idea the stress and exposure they incur every shift they work.

Much admiration and thanks to your sister.

It's all too real. My cousin and some friends who are nurses or physicians have similarly resigned themselves to the idea that they'll get it. It's a tough situation and the least those of us who do not work in healthcare on the front lines can do is to give them moral support and to speak out to make sure that the safety supplies meet their needs.

maybe some useful info here. Haven't had time to sort it all out
    Coronavirus Small Business Guide

The SBA Disaster Loan Program authorized for the COVID 19 is an Economic Injury Disaster Loans (“EIDL”).

The SBA Disaster Loan Program authorized for the COVID 19 is an Economic Injury Disaster Loans (“EIDL”). This is between the Borrower and the SBA. The website at sba.gov/disaster is functioning well. All should apply because even if the loan is not approved you’ll get a check for $10,000. Several customers have gone through the process and we await their experience. We’re hearing from some that the EIDL Loan prevents you from participation in the P3 loan program below. We do not believe this to be the case but will get more detail on that. It doesn’t hurt to go through the process. Don’t pay any fees for this either.

I'm sure many of you remember g8orbill, just saw a thread over in The Pub where he posted that his daughter at Emory has contracted the coronavirus.

    Asking for prayers once again

If you remember he lost another daughter to complications from drug addiction several years ago.

This would be great if it is a trend

Earlier today I posted it ticked up to 19%

Well now enough reported discharged and overall closed cases has caused it to tick back down. First time this has happened since I have been watching it.

    CLOSED CASES
    201,632
    Cases which had an outcome:
    164,541 (82%)
    Recovered / Discharged

    37,091 (18%)
    Deaths

In my opinion the sample size is too small for a definitive answer.

to me, it is getting to the point that all the experts are just throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks, each has their own theory and worst case scenario, how about some best case scenarios for a change.
