Gotta be "the thread", I'd imagine.

"Taxation is theft" coming in a distant second?

    But I'm a relative newby.

Side note: can you imagine posters like ChartsandGraphs, Dreamliner, OBOB in times like this. Pure gold, Jerry!

    Agree
Took us six weeks since the first reported Covid-19 case (Jan 19-Sonomish County WA) to reach 100k.

I think the point being made is that would be a good thing as far as herd immunity goes.

So long as we sacrifice a bunch of senior citizens and those with health issues and others to achieve it quicker.

This of course has become a narrative on the right. So much for being pro life. Now grandpa, go lick a doorknob.

330 million population.......would that really be a surprise? We are testing 65,000+ a day, of course the number of cases will continue to grow at 15 to 20,000 a day for the next week or so anyways no matter what fever says. Comparing the number of cases to other countries, at this point, is useless as we are testing a crap load more people than they are. I am more interested in the number hospitalized and dying. The higher the number of cases the better as far as I am concerned as long as the hospitalized and dying number stays somewhat in a range and at some point in the near future starts to level out and begin to decline.
I now know why I stayed out of "Too Hot'" lol.

The crazy thing is that old people tend to vote Republican, so they're harming their own base lol.

    But the President does.

"I say Mike [Pence], don't call the governor of Washington; you're wasting your time with him. Don't call the woman in Michigan. … If they don't treat you right, I don't call."

The nation is an pandemic. People are dying in every state. United States citizens. And this man is so small and petty that he doesn’t see stopping it as his fiduciary responsibility. It’s whether that citizen comes from a state with a Governor that kisses his...ring (not my first analogy choice).

Wartime President, my...ring. More like President of the United States that are willing to brownnose me. What a narcissistic, small, petty excuse for a man.

No worries, there's no conflict in priorities. Voter suppression works. And besides, old people are a drain on the economy.

Be a patriot, I need my bonus! :D:rolleyes:
