Tucker is the guy on the right that fell for the nonsense and Trump finally started listening to people after that who had data to back their claims up this stuff wasn't that bad at all for a pandemic. Tucker is one of the few talking heads on the right that still refuses to admit he fell for the con. Luckily Trump quit listening to his naive advice and realized what Dr. Faucis true intentions are.
Can you just start a separate thread for this asinine conspiracy shit? You seriously degrade the level of discourse in every single thread prattling on about this crap. Nobody with a working brain believes any of your wild theories.
Well the are a Euro democratic socialist country, haven't we been told their healthcare system is what we need here......
Fauci is great, but with all due respect Dr's are taught to cover their assess. The don't give much thought to the cost of a treatment, as should be the primary goal is to save as many as possible. But that's why they admit people for the 1 in 10,000 case, thus the "quarantine all mentality", damn the secondary issues. Also why most Dr's don't make good businessmen..
So in Florida about 1 in 10 of the people tested are positive, and many many people aren't getting tested beacsue they aren't very sick. So just how many minimally sick cases aren't being reported...….
Continental should be allowed to fail. Lousy management, stupid unions, they have zero in savings . Let someone else try.
Or in other words, how many minimally sick or asymptomatic are walking around infecting other people?
Nope I like conversing with the few righties here sometimes and putting a little reality out for the left. That poster from the sports forum I think that doesn't post here much had it right when he said this place made CNN look like a Trump rally when he went through the threads.
Sure and does it really matter? The ones not getting tested aren't very sick or they would get the test. If the true number of sick who need to be hospitalized is really 1/1000, that's different than 1/100..... Over 60 and those with chronic medical issue stay home..... that will bend the curve for those needing to go to hospital which is the real worry correct?
It only matters if those newly infected get very sick, and most don't. 80% don't get hospitalized. Like I keep saying old and medical issues stay home..... If you have any URI symptoms stay home.
Here's the problem with that strategy. First, people who stay home are still at risk from loved ones and other people they necessarily come into contact with (such as delivery people, people at grocery stores or pharmacies, etc.). Second, while the death rates are far lower for those under 60, they're still not insignificant. Maybe what you're proposing will prove to be the only workable solution, but there are downsides to it.
And what if a portion of those 80% have a partner with an issue or care for an elderly parent? They will be out and about and then bring the virus home. Its not black and white, there is lots of crossover.
