Something on that chart really sticks out up to now anyway and I wonder if it might have people questioning the draconian lockdown methods over the long term and you have the issue in the US with how the big states are faring with various restrictions.

Right now China who may be low balling deaths a little anyway and Korea with those harsh measures have a no better ratio than the US and Germany have with death to population ratios and Korea has been in an extended dead cat bounce pattern with their deaths still slowly rising on a cumulative basis. I wonder what the numbers say for these differing states and countries say in May once the N Hemisphere is mostly past flu season.

    Cuomo’s presser just finished.

    Sobering.

Needs 140,000 beds and 30,000 ventilators.

Sends warning to other states who are behind NY on the curve by a couple weeks to get ready.

And where are the 4 million test kits we were promised last week? And the week before. Only have 300-400,000 tests have been taken. Shameful.

Why is he complaining about not having enough masks? Look right behind him. ;)

I think running low on masks when needed elsewhere. Thought that was the reason given at a press conference.

U.S. could become next coronavirus epicenter, WHO says

Over the previous 24 hours, 85 percent of new cases were in Europe and the United States, and of those, 40 percent were in the United States.

As of Monday, the virus had infected more than 42,000 people there, killing at least 559.

Asked whether the United States could become the new epicenter, Harris said: “We are now seeing a very large acceleration in cases in the U.S. So it does have that potential.”

So they took a new medication without contacting their primary care physician or local health department to make sure it would not create an issue, adverse reaction, with other medications being currently taken?

Not exactly, evidently it was something used to clean fish tanks.

Yep, based off of words coming from the president.
Stupid people, period. Larger picture is the president's words matter. Especially to those that are all in on him.

So when some idiot takes it outside of a prescription it is Trump's fault? C'mon...plenty to blame Trump for, but the idiocy of some people is not one of them.

Different form of the same chemical. A good illustration of the consequences of promoting a cure for political purposes without realizing what could possibly happen. Rather than promoting Chloroquine as a cure for Covid-19. he should have used language to the effect that it had promise for the treatment of Covid-19 and was undergoing clinical trials for that purpose and probably should have added a warning not to take the drug unless prescribed by a physician.

Stimulates so many acerbic (yet humorous) responses in my head. So many! John Stuart Mill comes to mind.

    CNBC:

CDC report on the Diamond Princess ship showed the virus stayed viable for 2 weeks on surfaces.

1/2 of those on ship that tested positive were asymptomatic. Meaning they were carriers that infected other people and did not know it.

45,000 test per day now according to Dr. Ashish Jha. So it is improving.

Trumpist being incredibly stupid when listening to the impeached President .... come on, can't happen. Trump goes on about it's approved, etc, a gift from God, saved countless lives, ect. and then he started in on the disclaimers .... well, no he didn't as any prudent leader down to a town Mayor would have.

I mean he clearly mentioned prescriptions and someone died taking some fish variety that was not prescribed.
Again. Trump has handled this poorly...but THAT is on the idiot that took did themselves in.

So far two people out of 360 million have taken this “medication” without guidance from their physician?
