Especially when some of the people blasting folks for their lack of facts are also posting information that is false.

I was referring to the one million tests tweet...not the one about grandparents.

    But on that topo5c...
I am not saying they should do it...just that my dad said something very similar to me this week. I think his opinion is had by a large many from his generation.

I didn't say a recession. Some are predicting another great depression. I can guarantee my kids two grandfathers would take a 10% chance on that one.

Again...for the 100th time. I am supporting the measures taken. I believe they are working. I just think the man was misquoted and pointed it out.

The fact that my dad would or would not do something does not frame my personal opinion.

Don't believe that. Some states are just being sensible and not testing anyone with mild symptoms for other reasons. NY was testing anybody requesting from a doctor with symptoms for a while which caused issues. There are a bunch of tests out there and anyone dying from this has been tested.

She *may* be more inclined to notify recent, close acquaintances if a known positive. That allows others to make informed choices and reduce the propagation.

Not your question, but local health authorities can make better choices if they have more and accurate information.

There it is. And so it begins with the media just like the other attempts to take out the POTUS with the Russian collusion hoax etc. Fauci no matter what he does going forward is part of the resistance just like those deep state crooks in the FBI etc. He wants to go overboard as possible to make the crash even worse but Trump knows the deal 100% with him now.

On one hand, we have one of the most renowned infectious disease experts in the country who has worked for six Presidents. On the other, we have the most ignorant and uninformed President of my lifetime. Yeah, tough call here. I'll listen to the "deep state" over the dumb state.

In your world, everybody is a deep state, anti-Trumper, including 95% of the people Trump has hand picked.

Can't you see how ridiculous that is?

Probably not. But most people aren't acting that responsibly. See Rand Paul.

You responded to my post about Patrick.

I'm not surprised that you don't believe there's a test shortage. I'll trust the medical professionals saying otherwise. And unless you've issued a shelter in place order, it's not sensible to refuse to test people with mild symptoms.

There are as many tests now as people that have this in the US (real number infected)' you just look at fake news.

Go look at our testing number positives to others in Western Europe except maybe Germany who is testing a lot of non clear symptoms also.

NY, WA and NJ have been testing head cold people. There are huge lines of cars at these sites with that for people not even that bad.

Coronavirus test: why your doctor probably won't give you one - CNN
Schaffner, a longtime adviser to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Dr. Rochelle Walensky, chief of infectious diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital, explained to CNN who should and shouldn't get tested, given that there are not enough tests to go around.
    --------------
How Shortage of Coronavirus Tests Impacts Northern Michigan - 9 & 10 News
“You can’t manage a pandemic without testing,” said Dr. Karen DenBesten.

Dr. DenBesten is an infectious disease specialist and the medical director of infection at McLaren Northern Michigan.

She says they are still seeing a shortage of coronavirus tests.

It's going by state there is no shortage period. 3 states decided to test runny noses if requested while others are being sensible due to mask supplies etc.

Since you are stuck on lefty misleading news care to tell me roughly how many tests have been done so far and the rough % testing negative out of all those tests?

Do you have an actual news link for your proclamations? All I get is a blue twitter bird on your posts. .

FYI my mother in law is in a high risk category in Tennessee and it took her doctor a week to get a test approved when it was initially denied for insufficiency of symptoms (she only had 1 or 2 of 3). Had to drive 45 miles for a test a week ago, still awaiting results because they had to be "sent off". (although thankfully she seems to be improving).

Every health care practitioner inAmerica says there are insufficient tests, gloves, masks and ventilators, yet you stand alone in proclaiming this is a conspiracy, hoax, joke perpetrated by leftist crooks against your idol.

No link so I'm calling BS. Then you dismiss another poster's link because you claim it's "lefty", but you don't back up anything at all. Zero cred for this guy.

I live in the Tampa Bay Area. I just read in the paper about numerous drive up testing sites.

Wonder what is different where your sister’s at?

    Hope and pray She’s ok.
