I guess I should have put this on the joke thread? Also, as a conservative I’m hitting myself right between the eyes. Just like when I commented that SS and Medicare will be saved if enough of us old people die from this. Isn’t a Jk enough?
Why ban him? I disagree with 90% of what he posts, but he’s never disrespectful to other posters. Isn’t that what a political board is for?
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Assuming it refers to you. If so, Godspeed and safety in your travels
I wish we had the video from the beginning. The woman filming stated that the person with all the paper supplies immediately started F bombing them. Then later when the person filming accused the woman packing the stuff away of reselling it she replied "yup". My money is on a price gouger.
The lady should just call her state's attorney general's office, give them the license plate number, and offer to send the video. Most (if not all) states have price gouging laws.
Not for me, just curious what the travel papers look like when you need something from the grocery store.
much closer to libertarian, fiscally conservative, socially liberal, big on personal responsibility. not that it really matters
Wait. The mortality rate for Italy due to flu, this year or others, is separate from that of Covid , why do you link them?
the death toll count is doing more or less what it “should” do to this point. That is, to go up proportionally to the number of cars that were reported a a few days to a week or so ago, because folks don’t usually pass away immediately upon diagnosis. And there can be variances in small numbers as well. Cases are still going up 10 -20 percent or more a day, so that’s what we can expect short and medium term from deaths rates, unless the people infected are disproportionately young. On a death rate of 50 people, that’s only 5-10 rise daily. If you look at the graph it’s been following that, the last day or two has been an aberration, but as long as cases continue to rise, expect the death rate to rise proportionately, outside of that day where we massively increased the tests, that will skew the number a bit. And if it doesn’t, then awesome, we somehow dodged a massive bullet. But we aren’t close to being able to say it’s peaked, or that it won’t still overrun the healthcare system.
Morgan Stanley projecting a 30% contraction in quarter 2. I can't say that's wrong, because obviously this is catastrophic. But still that's eye-opening
Trump Admin eliminated position in China that worked to detect disease outbreaks months before the coronavirus outbreak began.
Logic would also seem to dictate that due to the slow roll out of testing, we will have several coronavirus deaths that will never be attributed.
