That infuriates me almost as much as people who loot after hurricanes.

Of course she's a Trumper too. Unreal. Some sick folks out there...

He had to change course. He couldn't continue to ignore the obvious as the virus wasn't just going to disappear and yet Fauci clearly still can't speak his mind. If Fox was truly a news source and not just a propaganda machine they wouldn't merely parrot what T says.
How many dissenting opinions does T have to ridicule and belittle, or fire, before you open your mind?

logic says when you ramp up the number of tests, you will get more positive ones, the tell-tale of this is seeing how many more deaths and critical conditions there are from day to day, just saw on " epidemict stats/coronavirus/usa " that the death rate in the USA was 1%, take if for what you will.

Medical "experts" are inclined to be "expert" and that constitutes saving their tail ends by saying the extreme doom and gloom predictions. You see, its a game that the "experts" play with those that are incapable of putting 1 and 1 together because those people need a hand holding to do what they are told. While I do not discount the vast amount of opinionated guesses being made I can safely and confidently say that your so called admiration of the "experts" and your choosing to accept all things from them is concerning if you cannot accept the need for them to salvage themselves. They will not sell their careers off by using logic and will make worst case scenarios real because an "expert" must always be an "expert" and to be wrong removes them from "expert" status. Go high and you have alot of room to say, "but if it would have done this" but go low and you risk "you failed to see ...blah blah blah information". Got it?

The same applies to the President for example. Lets see, George W. Bush repeatedly said WMD over and over even when there was no evidence at all from intelligence. But I can almost hear the screams to this day that we should not question the information because GWB knows more than we do because he has information we don't have. Do your remember how "expert" he was? Not so much right?

Today, I posted about how many Italian senior citizens have died from the FLU over the past 4 years and the amount of deaths will far exceed what this virus will do. But, the "experts" don't tell you that the FLU in Italy carries a verifiable massive death rate and it is still doing it but the "experts" ignore that fact and speak only of the virus. Please tell me...and I really want to hear your thoughts on this. November 2019 to current the Italian headlines showed and highlighted confirmed flu statistics that will make you say "are you freaking kidding me!" would you not consider that important information or are you completely happy thinking that the only factor that is killing seniors in Italy is this virus? After you take a moment to study the facts and see the deaths that have occurred in Italy since November 2019 to current and realize that there is a FLU EPIDEMIC happening then maybe you will lighten your assumption that the "experts" got your back. If they did then they would also look at the USA FLU totals too because there isn't just 1 train running (metaphor for virus) there are 2 and one of them has been around a lot longer than the other and has killed the same identical at risk age group. I would suggest that is very valuable information unless you are trying to divert to your "expert" status.

1% is still crazy friggen high for a highly contagious and airborne illness, that apparently stays with you for weeks (14+ days). The flu is .01 and generally only lasts days.

Not only do you demonstrate little understanding of the constraints and rigor involved with medical science, you have completely misrepresented my position. It appears the situation has shaded your bias heavily. I wish you and your family the best and hope the situation gets better for you and your profession.
As for the flu in Italy, or anywhere else, I suggest you do some reading. The two are incomparable in the way they spread and in the presence/lack of a vaccination. Those are my thoughts on that. The comparison is invalid.

I know I am not scared and miserable. But I have a healthy fear over what it can do, informed by our experts and current understanding.

The reality is that an uncontrollable infectious disease pandemic in which humans have no immunological defense against, no antivirals, and no vaccine means this is a public health crisis. And given the experience in several other countries, can in an instant turn into a catastrophe.

That our leading health authorities and expert epidemiologists view this is an incredible danger shouldn't signal *nothing to see here* or *hoax* which is the attitude of some here--still!--it should signal this is really freaking serious. Serious enough that our economy is being ravaged for years to come, and economies in other countries likewise. And if folks want to look for ways to find 'good news' in a trend that is not good news, so be it. People have a choice. But you can't blame others for pointing out what is when what is is a 5 alarm fire of a pandemic.

for what it is worth, and take with a grain of salt, I saw somewhere the death numbers in Italy were a little out of context, it said that before the convid19 hit they were in the worse flu season they have ever had, were not prepared for it, and now they have no idea who died from what, again, take it for what you will.

I need to stop being surprised by how dysfunctional this administration is.

It's just like with the Opioid crisis when he didn't understand that just saying it was an emergency wasn't sufficient for declaring a state of emergency and making funds available to the states.

That was my first thought, then I remembered how I dragged a can of their water from Hurricane Andrew across three states and twenty years before I realized that I could just throw it away.

It looks like it was never unpacked, from the stockroom to her pickup truck. That store should not get any more deliveries as the manager was probably in on it.

Need all of the facts here before you judge, this could have been going to a nursing home. I admit it looks terrible and probably is a hoarder but there are other possibilities.

Rand Paul positive for COVID19. After he held up the relief package to make everyone come back and vote, there’s a certain irony.
