WOW. Went to fox news & found this. The Trump campaign calling someone out for lying is silly, but lying in the call out....I guess par for the course.
Trump campaign calls out NBC reporter before coronavirus briefing

NBC's Peter Alexander is Dishonest. The Full Video Proves It," an email headline from the campaign read on Saturday. The email, which came just before Saturday's briefing, claimed Alexander was spewing "pure, dishonest garbage," when he said his question was merely intended as an opportunity for Trump to reassure Americans.

“Let’s see what happens, we have nothing to lose,” Trump said. Alexander interrupted the next reporter who was called on, shouting, “What do you say to Americans who are scared?”

The video does not lie. This is a lie. They rilly are taking the don't believe your eyes & ears thing to heart. Next level corruption.

Here's mr nasty interrupting & shouting.

There aren't anymore words to find or emotional intensity that can capture just how uniquely terrible he is. There is nothing right about him. Even when for a moment he rose up a bit to the occasion after weeks of completely fusterclucking everything up, only to then demolish that brief moment a dozen times now.

This guy's motives are way beyond the simple act of keeping office doors open. My wife is an attorney, and she didn't set foot in the office or a court room this week. But she had a very busy week and settled multiple cases. They're just doing things remotely over the phone.

i know this is a far out theory but i'm wondering if it is even remotely possible that in warmer climates, people tend not be cooped up inside and therefore less likely to spread the virus.

Apparently Washington just went NY level like - testing a lot more people now and some say NJ has started also. This is like the old saying about stats kind of if you were to try and go by just positives cases for when this actual peaks in the US. The other number will be the clearer mark for that.

hmm. Use stats quite a bit. Even taught it at the college level & never heard this one. here's one that may be appropriate...from my grandma.

    Good link.

Because the outbreak obviously occurs quicker than we can track it, there is always going to be *error* between the the true rate of infection and the known rate, the known always lagging behind. The frightening thought is that we don't know yet if we are even catching up with the true rate because we've only recently been ramping up testing and the more we test, the more we find new cases, while the rate of new cases continues to rise exponentially. It will be some time before we can make that determination.

I live in a dinky little town of about 1,600 in a reddish state. We just had a confirmed case of Covid-19 from a lady visiting here from NYC. The confirmed case was added to the NY total and not the NC total - that's the way its done apparently by state of residence. Unfortunately, just before her diagnosis she attended a barn dance here so no doubt there will be other cases diagnosed in residents.

Well, nice to see people are living large and going to parties just like they are being told to in some places .
