    Thoughts

With all the voluntary social distancing, we may see a flattening of the curve of cases.

If so, I predict the there will be those who will claim, see it was nothing to fret about without acknowledging that it was the self social distancing that was the basis for the drop.

With all the leagues shutting down, WHEN will the casinos also shut down? Lots of traffic, lots of transmission. Chairs, tables, chips and slots......

I've been thinking this for a while too.

We pull off the miracle (cause we're capable), 5k die, and its, "See?Hoax!!" Trump in November.

....or maybe a virus isn't political and maybe Italy's much older population coupled with their right quarters are the problem?

Look at the graphs. It has almost completely leveled off. The high death rate is due to one town and how quick it moved there. Heavy smoking population has been cited as an issue for males in that region.

Dean Koontz wrote in his 1980's book.
    Eyes of Darkness..

“Exactly,” Dombey said. “And Wuhan-400 has other, equally important advantages over most biological agents. For one thing, you can become an infectious carrier only four hours after coming into contact with the virus. That’s an incredibly short incubation period. Once infected, no one lives more than twenty-four hours. Most die in twelve. It’s worse than the Ebola virus in Africa —infinitely worse. Wuhan-400’s kill-rate is one hundred percent.

High death rates simply mean under reporting affected numbers it seems. South Korea is testing a lot of people and .9% mortality rate. I’d take however many deaths have been reported and multiply by 100. The US doesn’t have a mortality rate of 2.3% it’s just there are 2.5X’s as many people infected as reported. That’s my guess.

Outside of Washington state, death rate is 1%, with the vast majority of those being older people with existing medical conditions. Further, if one adheres to the “theory@ that the number of actual cases of COVID-18 in the US is under reported due to a lack of testing, the death rate, to date, is even lower.

plus he’s more focused on stock price than helping people who can’t pay for medicine or get treatment.

How does that help people whose employers are closing their doors during this crisis?
