Lot of players having great years. Damian Lillard is incredible for the Trailblazers this year and has been playing better than anyone in the NBA as of late.

Glad Beal was a Gator for a year. Great player. Great players on bad teams are not always appreciated

Heard somewhere that Brad left UF with a 4.0 GPA. Pretty impressive for a one-and-done guy.

Slipped by Dorian Finney-Smith to make that layup.

He had 53 in their last game. Dude is killing it right now. And he wasn't an All-Star, smh.

Great to see Beal hang the double-nickel tonight. 8-13 from 3

I believe mad max played like 14 years in the nba, a very athletic, physical player and fast. Not many will come close to his career longevity, having to go guard Michael Jordan whenever his team played them. #1 player in high school his senior season. Him and Andrew Moten formed the m&m boys at the two guard positions, terrorized the SEC. went to the first sweet sixteen for the U of F.
This was when there were only Forty eight teams in the tournament. I believe this is when Florida basketball started to show the nation, there were many great high school basketball players from The state of Florida.

I was wondering who the last gator was before Beal to score 50.

    Brewer dropped 50? Sweet!

I remember Chandler had some crazy night when he hit like 13 3s or something...

I think that Brewer and Mad Max did it, but Neal Walk did not.

Surprisingly IIRC Horford never did it.

The m&m boys were fantastic back in the late 80s. They could have been in the final four. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. They let Ron Seikally get the rebound off of his missed free throw then the put back. Syracuse ended up losing to Georgetown in the F4. I know, coulda woulda shoulda!

Beal is the best NBA player we’ve ever had and it’s not close.
