Too cold to paint today as I has the gas turned off at the rental (maybe sell after all this work). Instead it was 6 hours of other things including tearing down Masonite that was covering the walls in one bedroom. The plaster is not nearly as bad as I thought it could be.

Tonight grilling rib eyes with a cream cheese, blue cheese, shallot, serrano pepper, rice wine vinegar topping. Garlic mashed potatoes and a kale salad as sides.

Grilled a London broil for a friend and will be grilling some thick pork chops for dinner in a few minures. Same KJ set up and temps for both.

Slammed all week so lots of take out dinners. Bleech.

Tonight I am grilling a pesto chicken: whole chicken with pesto rubbed under the skin. I made the pesto yesterday with basil from the garden, pinenuts, really good Parmesan, and excellent virgin olive oil. And just a touch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Tomorrow I am smoking a 6+ pound pork shoulder for pulled pork.

While I’m working on this recovery Ms. Jan is taking her turn tonight—It’s breakfast for supper—

Fried cubed steak, scrambled eggs, grits, and Grand Jr’s biscuits—

Smoked the turkey last night and carved it for today. Will just reheat today to save some time. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Grilling a London broil tonight after we got rave reviews after I did one for some friends.

Hoping @Bazza and his mom are OK. It has been a while since he chimed in on this thread.

Wow! That sounds like some serious stuff coming up. Hang in there and avoid doing more MSG for the next day or so.

Will be keeping positive vibes heading your way!

    Thanks, Nitro—

Couple of days with “routine” setbacks post-op at the hospital. One day water weight retention/O2 balance kinda slowed things up and then yesterday I had the pleasure of fighting food poisoning—ugh, don’t have to elaborate on that topic for anyone, I’m sure.....
