Ms. Jan’s request and so it will be—

Fresh fried catfish fillets, cheese grits, homemade coleslaw, and hush puppies—

And of course you can’t fry fish without an ice cold longneck in your hand—

    Beautiful day outside, everyone enjoy—

For St Paddy's Day I am making pasta Bolognese even though I have a corned beef in the fridge and one in the freezer. They were on sale. I will cook one soon (maybe tomorrow) after Guinness goes on sale like it always does right after St Patrick's Day.

Tonight I made pizza. Rolled out the dough, puréed the tomatoes, grated the mozzarella, cut the toppings. Then I cooked it on a brick insert I made for the charcoal grill.
Edit: didn’t mean to quote you Lurker

Put together a taco casserole with rice and taco chips and a side of refried beans covered with queso cheese—

    It turned out pretty tasty—

Ice cold Pacificos longnecks accented with fresh lime slices with that dish—

Indirect grilling a half boneless pork loin over applewood smoke for tonight’s meal—sides will be fresh field peas w/snaps, and Dixie Lily yellow rice dinner topped with diced Rotel tomatoes—

Back porch ice cold longnecks after yard work and lighting the burn pile were a must—

I am grilling jerk chicken for an International Student pot luck at my old department. Folks were supposed to bring dishes from their homeland.

I am not from Jamaica, but I think that they wouldn't want cabbage rolls. And there will be a number of south Indian students that like it spicy.
