A couple missed opportunities. Overall, I like what I see. Defense is on point. Offense is decent and Franks is making adjustments and settling in. I’m pleased.
With a little bit of work, Franks could be a very effective runner in Mullen's offense. He shows some flashes from time to time.
Nobody beats Galen Hall constantly pulling on his sack. Had such epic camera time awareness, never a wasted sack adjustment.
We cant have everything break our way so I'm not upset about the deep throw to Toney where he missed the inside rout. The missed Toney in the end zone play and the defense not reacting to the fumble I'll admit made me salty. Thats 7 points and without expecting a perfect game the score should be 17-7. The rest of the game has pretty much gone the way our games have gone. Sings of life on offense before stalling and a defense that cant get off the field despite only giving up 10 points. The 2nd half is an unknown but yes....overall I'll take it
Yup. I’ll take dan Mullen halftime adjustments any day of the week though. I like where we are right now.
seemed like the fastest moving first half in the history of the game. Just a FWIW type deal...that Emory Jones appears to be the real deal. Love his moxy (always wanted to use that word in a sentence.) Probably should have kept him in on that drive near the goal-line. BUT...don't hate the Gators effort so far. Impressive. Here we go Gators here we go! Go Gators.
I like we look very physical and matching their toughness. Granted it's not the same d they had before the OSU game. This has an LSU grand feel to it. We need to rough up Patterson in the second half and exert our will over them.
Im stunned sometimes to see only 10 points on their board despite their 3rd down conversions and open wrs. Amazed really. That could go either way in the 2nd half of course
