Franks’ inability to recognize coverage and blitzes is hard to accept at this point in his career.

 

The best characteristic from a mental standpoint about Scarlett is “awareness”. I can’t rememer a running back we’ve had that ha such awareness. He’s like he has that yellow line in his head.

Story of game is Townsend always running slightly to right when punting, Dean not coached to look back toward ball in coverage, and Franks not accurate with throws. Continues to get rattled with pressure. Better runner now, but needs to have better composure

 

We are taking too long to snap the ball. Franks brings the clock down under 5 seconds almost every time. No sense of urgency. Let's go, Gators!

 

And Toney. Dangit. While he is shifty, for sure, he needs to learn when to use it and when to just take the corner!! Like, no reason to look for a reason to juke someone when you’ve got an open lane.
