Like I said, partisan perspectives always find the problems with the other side.

Well, if you have to work at it, the Republicans have certainly done so. They've been leaking documents to attack the character of people who are allegedly victims of sex crimes. Meanwhile, Donald Trump continues to be Donald Trump, and people like Lindsey Graham have been an embarrassment.

North Dakota and Texas favor the Pub candidates, while the rest are dead heats. Even those two are close enough at this point they could go either way.

Edit - the real interesting look is the overall map: RealClearPolitics - 2016 Election Maps - Race Changes

Right now it reads 46 to 46 (safe or not up in this election), and 8 toss ups. Going to be a big fight for those last 8 seats.

They probably spent a lot of that time sitting with Judge's lawyer going over what he would and would no answer questions about.

Including New Jersey. Thanks for keeping Menendez around.

Yep, that is an honest read of the polling. Honestly, looking through the RCP data, it is hard to pick up a trend either direction in any of the states. Essentially, some states have their latest poll as strongest for the Democrat, others have it for strongest for the Republican, and still others have it in the middle.

Strange that they would do that if all he knew was the 6 sentences. Almost as if there might be important information not covered in those 6 sentences.

Well, to say the GOP are providing Kavanaugh cover, ie trying to sweep attempted rape under the rug, is par for the left partisan perspective. I'll give you that.

So if the committee does subpoena those documents do they have to be turned over to them?

No matter where you live in the world, I'll pay for the shipping. PM me your address so that I can send a crate of Kleenex tissue boxes your way.

This is not an answer to your question, but regardless (and I'm sure you realize this), it is quite odd that Ford's lawyer would submit her polygraph as corroboration for the hearing and not be willing to release said polygraph exam to the Committee holding said hearing.

If they can subpoena the documents, they would have to be turned over unless the subpoena was legally deficient.

You can save your money. I have a box on my desk. Just remember two clichés: 1) You reap what you sow, and 2) What goes around comes around. There will be a day when the Democrats are in power again, and they're going to look to return the favor. Unfortunately, that's the reality we're now living in because nobody puts country over party anymore. I hope you don't attempt to cry foul then, but I expect you will.

She released the report written by expert. They want the underlying data.

Yes, I realize this. Why is that data being withheld? That seems rather conspicuous to me.

North Dakota had a poll with the R challenger up 10. Could be an outlier but that is well outside the MOE.

NJ has been consistently within 4 over the last several weeks.

In Florida Gillum and Nelson have been up around 4-5, now they are up 1 according to a poll out today.

The FBI probably had a lot to ask Judge about seeing as he wrote a book about his high school experiences and was with Kavanaugh a good bit. The FBI has more material to ask him about since he literally wrote a book about his younger years.

As is assuming a sexual assault victim is purely a political operative. Goes both ways.
