This whole thing is nothing more than the Dems trying to burn down the entire process (like circus clowns with nothing but rumors and uncorroborated statements to back themselves up with) of selecting a Supreme Court Justice.

In the end Trump will get one more pick, after Kavanaugh, when RBG retires... I can't wait to see the Dems try and discredit the woman that Trump selects to replace her.

I think it's time to post this again:

Again, we can't change the past. We can only learn from it and hope to make a better future. When the above poster shows a much better than 6:1000 rapists being incarcerated, maybe then you can complain about Ford not going to law enforcement earlier.

Also, how many of these rapists who will go free be nominated for the Supreme Court? Not many. But why should Kavanaugh get a pass because Ford didn't come forward in 1982, which shouldn't surprise anyone given the chart above and the fact that conditions were far worse for those who reported sexual assault back then versus today.

So unless you can invent a time machine and change the past, what would you do?

Lol... conflating facts with hearsay is dangerous and comical all at that same time. It's comical that you think we don't know what you're doing here.

So since you are now ranking him as a rapist would you please provide any evidence that this actually happened... or are we just going with guilty till proven innocent? And how hard it will be to prove that negative. Kavanaugh now has to prove something didn’t happen.

I can see it is complicated, but...
Not trying to be a wise ass but it certainly seems like a distinction without a difference to me.

You said Kennedy didn’t vote that it was unconstitutional. He unquestionably did...

I didn't see where he stated that B Kav was guilty of rape. I'll speak for myself here, but summarily dismissing her claim does not mean that by definition it is a fact that this whole thing is nothing but a sinister democratic con job.

No court room on EARTH would even try to prosecute this hearsay... With no place and no time there was no provable crime.

Let's have a full investigation, with FBI interviews of Dr. Ford, Judge Kavanaugh, Ms. Ramirez, all the witnesses she says is willing to come forward to corroborate, and then we can decide what we believe is fact and what is hearsay. Until then, I'll go on record stating we don't have enough information to make a truly educated conclusion. I believe Dr. Ford, but I can't say for certain that Kavanaugh is guilty. And after investigation, there will likely always be reasonable doubt.

I believe Kavanaugh did lie under oath about things like boofing, the Ralph Club, the Renate Alumnae, and his never drinking to excess. Kavanaugh is also guilty of of testifying under oath of being hyper-partisan. These two things should disqualify him for being a Supreme Court Justice. And the lying about the small stuff like his drinking also leads to question, what else is Kavanaugh lying about?

We're not in a courtroom here, it's a hearing. Different standards apply.

It's kind of hard when her lawyers won't give the FBI all the facts on here and the polygraph test as well as other facts...

You say that like it's meaningful. If they don't know what they're looking for, how are they going to catch unreported allegations from 30+ years ago?

Kavanaugh’s 1983 Letter Offers Inside Look at High School Clique
In a 1983 letter, a copy of which was reviewed by The New York Times, the young Judge Kavanaugh warned his friends of the danger of eviction from an Ocean City, Md., condo. In a neatly written postscript, he added: Whoever arrived first at the condo should “warn the neighbors that we’re loud, obnoxious drunks with prolific pukers among us. Advise them to go about 30 miles...”
    . . . .
Recent interviews with more than a dozen classmates and friends from that time depict Judge Kavanaugh as a member of a small clique of football players who dominated Georgetown Prep’s work-hard, play-hard culture. His circle celebrated a culture of heavy drinking, even by the standards of that era.
    . . . .
One night during his senior year, according to classmates who witnessed it, Judge Kavanaugh triumphantly hoisted an empty beer keg above his head, in recognition that he and his friends were well on their way to reaching their goal of polishing off 100 kegs during the academic year — an achievement they later boasted about in their yearbook.

Four Georgetown Prep classmates said they saw Judge Kavanaugh and his friends partake in binge-drinking rituals many weekends in which other partygoers saw them inebriated, even having difficulty standing. Three of those classmates signed a July letter, along with more than 150 other alumni, that endorsed him for the Supreme Court.

And here's the "underground paper" that was allegedly written by Kavanaugh's group of friends (including Mark Judge) discussing girls from the school Dr. Ford attended:

I'm not sure how anyone can look back on Kavanaugh's testimony knowing what we do now and regard him as credible.

Yeah, I think he made the decision that admitting to his actual behavior in high school and college might make people picture him as the type of person that would do what he was accused of doing, so denial (even when it was explicitly and fairly obviously lying) was the best strategy. Not sure that he has been proven wrong yet.

First Booker says that this isn't political, then today he says it doesn't matter if he's guilty or innocent, he shouldn't be confirmed. Yet another Ivy League educated moron.

FBI Puts High-Level Focus on Kavananugh Background Probe - The Atlantic
“I sense a degree of frustration inside” the bureau “with the public’s expectation that the FBI is conducting a full court press when they’re not being permitted to do so,” Figliuzzi said. There is also “increasing concern that the White House and Senate will use the FBI as an excuse to say, ‘this has been fully investigated,’” when it actually hasn’t been. It is not conceivable, moreover, that the bureau has decided to ignore walk-ins and calls made to tip lines, Figliuzzi said. (The New Yorker reported recently that people purporting to have information about Kavanaugh were having difficulty communicating with agents.) But, he added, “the White House is still tightly controlling this investigation” in a way that may preclude agents from pursuing tips.

Montoya also said that he has “a hard time believing anyone was ignored. That’s not how it works. Everyone is heard.” Inside the FBI, “there has been a lot of confusion about how far to take this case,” Montoya added, and “some frustration” about limitations on what the FBI has been allowed to do. “But it is also balanced out by the realization that the FBI was thrown another political football in a no-win kind of situation,” he said.

BTW, if you read the letter it says "I think we are unanimous that any girls we can beg to stay there are welcome with open...Anyway I think we're all set" (the ellipsis was in the letter). He also wrote "Because this week has big potential (interpret as wish)." This, as a reminder, was written by a guy now claiming to have been a virgin then.
