Based on your posts about sexual assault victims, what do you think should happen to a Senator who receives such an allegation and sits on it, thus obstructing justice for the accuser?

My hope was that providing the information confidentially would be sufficient to allow the Senate to consider Mr Kavanaugh’s serious misconduct without having to make myself, my family or anyone’s family vulnerable to the personal attacks and invasions of privacy that we have faced since my name became public. In a letter dated August 31st, Senator Feinstein wrote that she would not share the letter without my explicit consent, and I appreciated this commitment. Sexual assault victims should be able to decide for themselves when and whether their private experience is made public.
Democrats of Maryland's Montgomery County went to the police and ask that a police report be filed based on Dr. Ford's testimony. The MC Police stated that the statute of limitation at the time was one year and they have to go by the statute of limitations at the time of the crime.

Did she add... "then it was mysteriously leaked at the most inopportune time possible for Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation vote. I have no idea how that could have happened, because Senator Feinstein assured me my secret was safe to her." lol
You're right. You don't have to provide anything. However, the quote you gave us doesn't say what you claimed it does. It's vague. On the other hand, his other two statements are very specific. Simply put, your interpretation just isn't convincing. It asks us to make too many assumptions in order to take it from a lie to a half-truth.
The Committee has a way to address issues confidentially - the FBI background investigation process is, itself, confidential, and the Committee can meet in closed session to maintain confidentiality. Unless her hope was literally that Feinstein would receive her letter and not do anything with it, the "well she wanted to be confidential" excuse for sitting on it doesn't get particularly far.
Then what’s your claim exactly? Feinstein simultaneously withheld evidence and released it without permission?
There IS something a bit irrational about sitting in an 800,000 lb metal firecracker as it moves 600 mph, 30,000 feet above the earth. Sorry, didn't mean to make it worse but it's a crazy that somehow we accept.

SHE would not share; however, one of her staff might...or, she might have left it on top of her desk when a reporter was visiting...or,..... But, SHE would never share the letter without ...explicit consent. Got it. That’s why it stayed a secret for....wow, 30 days.
Because according to Feinstein herself she didn't forward it to the FBI until September 12th, the original Intercept story that prompted this whole hubbub on the 12th noted that her office was refusing to share it with even other Democrats on the Judiciary Committee, and she didn't share the original letter with GOP Senators on the Judiciary Committee until September 20th. https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/im...in to Grassley - July 30 Letter from Ford.pdf
