Where did I compare him with Clinton?

If Kavanaugh isn't going to roll over, then why did he side step questions asking him if he'd be ok with an FBI investigation. An investigation would shed more light on the situation and maybe clear him.

His tactics here aren't working.....bullying, bad temper and blaming others isn't going to clear up this matter.

Did he see her at the Safeway? What was his reaction to her? What was the meaning of the phrases in the yearbooks? Did he tell his ex-girlfriend that he was involved in running trains on inebriated women? All information on which he could provide perspective.

No, you don't "got it" clearly. You are just using strawmen arguments.

I never mentioned him being a conservative, unless you want to define some of his pretty screwed up positions on sex and relationships as being "conservative." Would you, as a conservative, like to state your agreement with the phrase "Certain women should be struck regularly, like gongs." or is that not about being a conservative and more about being a person with issues in terms of sex and relationships? Is the conservative position that women should be struck regularly? If not, then his positions aren't about being a conservative. So either you are slaying a strawman or saying that women deserve to be struck is a conservative position. Which is it?

What on Earth are you talking about? I remember vividly him categorically saying he was okay with whatever the Committee wanted to do when asked about an FBI investigation during the hearing on Thursday. Using the phrase "I'm all in."

It's helpful if you provide the entire quote:
"Ms. Keyser does not refute Dr. Ford's account, and she has already told the press that she believes Dr. Ford's account," Keyser's attorney, Howard Walsh, wrote in the letter, which was sent to the committee overnight Friday. "However, the simple and unchangeable truth is that she is unable to corroborate it because she has no recollection of the incident in question."

That last bit is kind of important.

The last bit kind of has nothing to do with the point I made. Kavanaugh perjured himself a number of times. She made sure to call him out for lying about her statement. Kavanaugh violated the judicial code of conduct and perjured himself. That, alone, should disqualify him from SCOTUS.

At a pragmatic level the FBI investigation will shift the focus from "I believe her or I believe him" to "well the FBI report didn't really give us much more than we already knew or the FBI report revealed ....." therefore I'm voting to confirm/deny the nomination. The senators are no longer in the position of making their decision solely on the basis of the he said/she said testimony and the report gives them something else to point at.

Exactly.....he wouldn't commit to an investigation by the FBI. He deferred it to the committee. I have no recollection he said "I'm all in".

I don’t thank the Democrats thought this would go this far. They were counting on him withdrawing or Trump withdrawing his name They never planned on a fight like this and really not sure how to get Jack back in the box

Actually, some people have. That includes some woman who writes for The Daily Wire and The Federalist who went to college with Ford. She tried to call her a slut and attack her for partying at UNC. Good to know that those trashrags employ such terrible people.

Just to repeat myself, since the accuser has no evidence other than her word that the event occurred, no location or date of the event, and did in fact have the three witnesses she brought into her allegation to support her story deny any knowledge of any such party occurring, and you still want to conduct a broad fishing expedition based on her unproven allegation to see if they can come up with any proof? And how long should this fishing expedition take?

And to make a point, when Antonio Calloway was accused of sexual assault, did GPD/UPD interview every fricking student he went to class with at UF, or every fricking player on the football team? No. They interviewed the people that were alleged to be with him and the victim around the time of the allegation to find out if her story could be INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED. Since they didn’t do the above actions that you want done to Kavanaugh, does that mean you think GPD and UPD botched the Calloway investigation?

So the word of an alleged victim, whose story remains uncorroborated and was in fact all but shot down by her chosen witnesses, should be enough to tear through Kavanaugh’s life? Bull crap. But this isn’t a smear campaign, right?

Gotta laugh at the role reversal. The man who wanted to attack Clinton using the sordid details of Clinton's life is now having the sordid details of his life used against him. Of course, he threw a gigantic temper tantrum over it. Karma is a bitch.

Yeah, and that's her lawyer stating that. Libs here are acting like they know better than Keyser's own attorney. Unreal.
